Questions & Answers

How do you go about finding and starting the lessons for a year? What if the lessons are nowhere to be found?

Please double-check that your AILA Sit is in good working order. To use the three different learning modes, Play must be connected to WiFi and paired with the AILA For Parents mobile app. br>br>Broadcast Mode is the AILA Sit's default mode. Play. Broadcast mode provides iterative exposure to key preschool concepts, following the scope and sequence of the early preschool curriculum, and supports a spiraled learning approach by providing iterative exposure to key preschool concepts. br>br>Mode of the Learning Session: Start a Learning Session with the mobile Parent App when your child is ready to learn while your device is playing content in Broadcast Mode. When the current video concludes, the session will begin. This mode is at the heart of your child's individualized learning journey. Learning Sessions are 15-minute stand-alone instructional units that help children improve their attention span. During learning sessions, AILA assesses your toddler's level of engagement, which is determined by physical, emotional, and auditory reactions, and uses this information to tailor future sessions, delivering the right content at the right time.br>br>Lullaby Mode provides curated content for quiet time.

Is it possible for me to just buy a charging station? Other units don't appear to be compatible with this product. ?

You can get a charging set from us back at Animal Island Learning Adventure in our Store. Each and every one of our AILA Sitters Each of the Play units comes with a USB Type A to USB Type-B cable. A USB charging cable is included, as well as a charging brick for use with a wall outlet. Sit in the AILA Play works best with the charging accessories that come with the device, and we recommend that you only use the ones that came with it.

Are there any hidden fees or charges? Purchases made through an application?

The AILA Session Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA), our original series for toddlers (12 months), comes preloaded on Play. curated high-quality content For early learning, educators and innovators have created high-quality educational content. There is no need for a subscription, there are no hidden costs, and there are no in-app purchases. Purchases made through an application For no additional cost, the device receives free automatic updates that deliver new content such as new songs, lessons, stories, lullabies, and activities.

Is the stand included in the package, or must you purchase it separately?

The unit will be delivered in the condition shown in the photo. The only disappointment is that the screen protector and no-slip base extensions are more expensive than I would like to pay. I'm looking for a different way to get my hands on these items.

Duped

When a product only has 5 stars, it's a winner. Buyer beware when it comes to star ratings. br>br>This product is not what it claims to be. It's a low-cost alternative. brand tablet in a one-of-a-kind case with a foot (probably under $30). That little toe is adorable. The case is not shatter-proof, but it is friendly. It's not water proof, and it won't protect your tablet if your child decides to throw it across the room. After ten minutes of attempting to set this thing up, I felt like I wanted to. br>br>The first red flag came when they recommended scanning a QR code to activate the product with the parents app. There isn't a QR code to be scanned, though. After that, you'll get a four-star rating. a four-digit code that should be entered into the app that has no effect. The app requires the entire serial number or you won't be able to use it, so you're being asked to do something that doesn't work yet again. Okay. I'm not sure how confident I am at this point, but let's give it a chance. br>br>The tablet finally turns on and begins playing content, which is nothing more than a video that my 2-year-old created. year- It's not very engaging, and you can't click on anything on the screen, so kids will tolerate it for about a minute before losing interest. You can't stop it, skip it, or do anything about it; all you can do is grit your teeth and get through it. While this is going on, I scour the app for a way to change the age group so that the activities are at the 2-year mark. year level (as with ABC Mouse) Nope. This item is not in stock. To be honest, the parent app is a waste of time. You can use it to begin a timed learning session. There's also supposed to be a spot where you can change the timer (which is supposedly set to 15 minutes at the factory). That change was nowhere to be found. Maybe it's there, but I've given up looking for it. The app can only turn the device off, which I suppose is useful if you're one of those parents who likes to use the "uh-oh" technique. Oh no, it's not working! "An excuse to take your child away from his or her responsibilities. " br>br>Now let's talk about the software. In a nutshell, it's unimpressive. The characters are annoying. There is far too much talking going on. Videos flow into one another without allowing the child to interact or you to skip them. Again, maybe this is just how it starts out and it improves as the AI "learns," but there's no way my kid would devote that much time to it. And if you're thinking, "Well, sounds like your kid was raised on YouTube and has the attention span of a gerbil," you're completely wrong. There's a television in the room. At 23 months, he is a self-contained child who can play for 45 minutes. Whatever you want to get out of it. br>br>At $199, this is a complete waste of money, though it is cute. But is it interesting? Hardly. Is it a good investment? There's no way. Please accept my apologies, AILA, but I must return right away.

It appeals to children, and the majority of the content is adequate; however, the most serious flaw is the design

UPDATE: yoga is no longer an option! UPDATE 2: A four-star rating has been added to the previous two-star rating. Thank you, AILA, for removing the yoga and chanting references exactly as you requested. My children are now able to enjoy the content without having to worry about the references. At AILA, you will receive excellent customer service. br>br> UPDATE: br>br> The content has a problem because it promotes yoga, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. "Now it's time to rest," Mr Goose says at the end of a lesson. "Take a deep breath in and let it out. " Now it's your turn to listen. " During this, he makes the Gyan Mudra (or Chin Mudra) hand sign and then sits down (it is not shown how he sits, but even sitting cross-legged is a yoga practice of sukhasana). My objection is to the yoga reference, not to relaxing. In Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism, yoga is considered a spiritual practice. The hand sign (as well as the sitting position) is intended to be a spiritual gesture with spiritual significance in those religions. Animal Island's educators/animators, at best, have no idea what they're promoting, and at worst, they're promoting those religions on purpose. Furthermore, Mr. Frog uses the term "chant" to describe the Pat- A nursery rhyme about cake. Instead of chanting, they could have used words like "rhyme," "vocalize," "recite," or "say," because "chanting" is more closely associated with religion than with reciting a nursery rhyme (at least to me). I never heard a teacher tell me to "chant" a nursery rhyme when I was a kid, so while the use of the word "chant" is technically correct, the promotion of yoga makes it a little suspect. I'd like for others to be aware of the content's contents. If you don't mind yoga, the animation/content won't bother you. If you have a problem with yoga (like I do), you should wait until the animation is revised before purchasing this product. AILA responded politely and professionally when I expressed my concerns. Even when there is a disagreement, good customer service is provided. According to AILA, the animation will be revised. But that hasn't happened yet. ORIGINAL: ORIGINAL: ORIGINAL: ORIGINAL: ORIGINAL: ORIGINAL: ORIGIN My three-year-old and five-year-old daughters enjoy the educational content. They enjoy the songs and are becoming accustomed to them. They join in on the singing and recite some of the stories. The 5-year-old can use the touch screen to navigate. I'm looking forward to the content becoming a little more challenging, but for now and given their ages, it's fine. The performance of the characters is excellent. The animation is satisfactory, and the colors are vibrant. My 5-year-old enjoys the book and is actively reading it; I'm glad it came with the set. DESIGN: If little hands aren't careful (or big man hands trying to pick up the darn thing LOL), it topples too much (top heavy), and I'm hoping the stand will fix that - However, for an additional $50, what would you do? It should have come with a wider stand built in, but I guess they couldn't charge an extra $50 for that, LOL. Then there's the 'cuddle case,' which costs an extra $40 and helps protect the screen's edge. It could have been designed with a little more protection around the screen, but if it had, you wouldn't have had to spend any more money to protect the item from damage. Also, a screen protector is no longer available on the AILA website.

It's the ideal device for sneaking in some extra study time
5/5

I've been looking into homeschooling and educational programs because I have two preschooler boys at home. Aside from the reading, projects, and art we already do, I wanted something that would add value. The aila appeared to be a good mix of songs, letters, numbers, art, and storytelling set in a lovely setting. br>I decided to purchase it, and the boys have been extremely pleased with it thus far. Every day, the aila offers a 15-minute short lesson. They seem to pay more attention to mister goose than I do when I tell them about a new letter: It's interactive, and it strikes a good balance between storytelling, learning, and music. The device is very sturdy, so I placed it in front of the high chairs on the table. It's simple to set up; simply connect it to your WiFi network and download the app. br>This is a great way to get some extra learning in while the school is closed, especially now that the school is closed!.

What a fantastic product! Last week, I bought it for my three-year-old daughter, and not only does she enjoy it, but I've grown to enjoy watching it alongside her
5/5

Don't be surprised if you start humming along to the tunes because the content is entertaining, educational, and quite catchy. The device is sturdy, and my daughter can sit comfortably in front of it without difficulty. In general, excellent work.
