I would rate the tracks as work undone because they are in such bad shape. As a snapshot, I've attempted to display the texture (see picture attached). The fact that BRIO is actually printed on something so cheaply made is amazing to me. It is cute to see the train. In contrast to the bridge, the 8 is connected by a flat junction, which is less interesting than the bridge, but overall it is fine. I have a mixture of sets from other brands, and sometimes I pick up a big curved track and it feels rough on my figures, I immediately think of that damn Brio toy again -and I am not wrong. So often does this happen that I have to buy sandpaper to fix it. I did not return it, why did I not? Performing this set for the first time carried emotional weight. It took me even longer to take tracks out -- not to mention examine them -- than before Little Train Lover began playing with The set would not have been purchased if it were not for It isn't just that I felt cheated, but I am disappointed as well. Ultimately, this is a disgrace to the Brio brand.

PS. I also own some other Brio expansion packs that contain smooth tracks.

I used to love it in the past. Brio made in Sweden is an A+, but is Brio made in China a C or D? All the old stuff fit together seamlessly, and quality shouted "We take pride in our work!" New Set is screaming, "We want to make more money!" The new ones don't fit as well as the old ones and they also feel more affordable. As a whole, we love BRIO's products and will purchase more since there are not many options for kids who don't want obnoxious toys!.

Having recently unearthed a 20 year old Brio set from a closet, I decided to buy this new set for my grandchild to supplement her old one when she is a little older. Both sets work with each other, but the older set has a smoother finish on the pieces of the track compared to the new Although I may have to sand off a few splinters from the new track, the new track is not as nice as the old one. A new train had wobbly wheels and it seemed like the track was a little too wide to accommodate them. While trying to squeeze one set of wheels together, I found that one side would slide down and pop with a loud bang. I did that with all of them to make sure they were less wobbly and to make sure they fit the track better. Only the wheels of the train are plastic. The set is entirely made of wood. There is no indication on the packaging that it was made in China, which would worry people concerned with such things. Grandchild is not quite old enough for this to be played with. After it has been used for a while, I will update on durability, but it looks as sturdy as the old set, so I do not anticipate.

Using this kit as a foundation for my son's train set was a great idea. Over time, I have accumulated additional pieces through expansion packs, but in each package that I have looked at, this is still the best method for obtaining a large variety.

Sets of this kind are usually very simple. There are many things included, as stated in the description A train engine, 2 train cars, 14 track sections, a bridge, the Brio station, and three trees are included in the 22 pieces. Despite the fact that it is not simple enough that my 3 year old can set up the figure 8 shape, he sure can set up the tracks however he likes. As I am expecting this set to last a long time, I will update my review if there are any problems. In my view, it would be a great beginner's.

There is nothing more classic than this train set. That's a great construction, I know that it will last for years to come. The Figure 8 is, however, far too basic for my taste. I think the kids will have a lot more fun with this set if they include the BRIO bridge.

The railway has already grown because my grandson had a Brio train when he visited my house, so I decided to expand it. His experience with this product is quite frustrating because the magnetic field in the engine is not strong enough for it to stay connected with the rest of the train.

This gift was a birthday present for my grandson, who turned two this month Trains are one of his favorite things, so he had a train party for his birthday. As soon as he received this gift, he asked for it to be set up right away. This toy is said to be played with each day by him. some more tracks this Christmas for him, he will have fun arranging the tracks in any way he wants. Starter sets you can't go wrong with!.
