Handmade 1st Birthday Cake Topper Decoration - One - Double Sided Glitter Stock (Gold)

I'm a pastry chef who enjoys baking birthday cakes for my friends' children. Last June, I bought a "HAPPY BIITHDAY" garland birthday cake decoration for a friend's child's cake, and I didn't realize it until seconds before the party started. Needless to say, I was dissatisfied with the outcome. (The kid's parents were undecided, which was probably due to the fact that I had given them a free 3-day pass. ) tier cake, but I'm not sure. They could have pretended to be unconcerned and still be planning a prank on me. )br>br>For my own child's special day, I decided to go with a more straightforward birthday motto. I was wary until I received this in the mail because I had bad memories of plain cakes and perplexed kids. The word "one" was spelled correctly, to my surprise. This is perfect for a 4" smash cake and would look great on any cake size—it was a little bigger than the cake itself on her 4" cake, and it was glittery without being ostentatious or desperately trying too hard, which I despise in cake decorations.

The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it is lovely. The glitter doesn't transfer on this material, which is a plus. It, on the other hand, arrived in pieces in the package. I was planning on returning it, but realized I wouldn't be able to get another one in time for my daughter's birthday party. As a result, I had to pull out my glue gun and repair it. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known I'd have to do half the work. However, it turned out to be a beautiful cake.

This is a stunning piece. I bought it and then saw something similar in the store, so I planned to return it because it was more expensive, but when it arrived, I returned the one from the store because it simply didn't compare. This is a stunning piece. It comes highly recommended from me. It's also long-lasting, despite the fact that it's homemade. This was used for my son's smash cake photo shoot, and I cleaned it up and plan to use it again for his birthday party. I would strongly suggest it.

This was disappointing because, given the promised level of craftsmanship, I expected a more sophisticated connection method than two sloppy globs of hot glue on the back. That is something I do not want to see. If they had thought of a better way to hide the connection, like sandwiching the clear sticks between two pieces of glittered paper stock instead of one, this would be a fantastic cake topper. Excellent concept, but abysmal implementation.

This was the ideal finishing touch for my 1-year-old daughter's cake. It was the perfect complement to our pink and gold decor. For obvious reasons, I knew I wanted something simple and elegant without the traditional candles.

This cake topper is adorable. The unfortunate thing is that it isn't well glued. I got it today, and that was the first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package. It's a simple fix, but customers shouldn't have to put up with the hassle of gluing it when they're paying for the item!.

I figured it'd be nicer and last longer as a keepsake. Unfortunately, because this appears to be made from cardstock without lamination, the icing that came into contact with the "one" warped the bottom of the cake topper. It's fine if you only want something for a single use. If you want to keep it as a memento, keep it away from icing and wet hands.
