My version is silver, so I don't have a problem.
A spinning top was the only item in the package. Using a wood countertop, I was able to get my spinner to run for two minutes. You can do it for over four minutes on granite, however.
The BCD Spinning Top Base is excellent! By the way, I have no connection to Bruce Charles.
As the top is hardened stainless steel, it has a slight risk of harming granite. Granite is a composite and if the top hits a fracture point hard enough, then there is a chance of damage. To cause such damage, you would have to abuse the top severely, hammering it into the granite or throwing it into it, for example. Spinned properly, there should be no danger. As with tempered glass, you should always consider granite counters the same way. With a high degree of resistance to scratches and impacts, but prone to sensitivity.

The top edges of the smallest 24mm are more round than the other edges. The rest of the product descriptions are flat. The brass is 24mm in diameter and the silver/stainless steel is 29mm in diameter. Please note Sizes For comparison, I have included a picture. The size of a 24mm coin is about the size of a quarter, so it's easy to carry in a ) Durability Be careful when you launch it, since I already dinged and scratched the edge of my brass/gold top. If you're trying to get a good spin or launch, you're going to hit something. I would guess stainless steel/silver is more durable and able to carry a lot more weight. The design is There is a difference between the 24mm smallest top and the top from Inception movie, because the edges of the 24mm top are rounded and flat in the larger versions. Therefore, seller photos are accurate since the product image displays this. Since the surface of the discs is so small, the surface might be visually rounded. Unlike the 16mm, the 24mm has no knurled grip, and it is tricky to launch for good spins, so make sure you don't damage it in the process. Give your tops to people who are careful and you won't have to worry! In the game In addition, larger sized tops spin longer as a result of extra weight, as others have stated. These look incredible once they have stabilized. In order to avoid the top drifting/wobbling, it is best to find a surface that is LEVELED and smooth. A concave glass base is available for spinning the top, but that is only applicable if the top is kept at your desk. I emailed the seller about perhaps refining or making the longer tops with rounded corners since it looks more sleek and elegant than squared corners, in hopes it might be made in the future. I think it would be nice to also have the choice of flat or rounded corners. Please DO NOT buy other tops from other sellers if the tops do not use a Silicon ceramic bead when it comes to the contact point for spinning. They're not as good as those.
When you are on the fence about buying a metal top but have never owned one, go ahead and buy this. Please be aware that I have a conflict of interest Earlier yesterday, I spun a metal top for the very first time. Among the 3 tops I bought, there are 3 different kinds of material A zinc alloy, brass, and tungsten are used. In spite of the fact that this top is less dense than the solid tungsten one (due to its larger size), it top is designed to make it easy to spin, and the balance seems better than most. My first spins barely lasted 15 seconds. I had no chance of any of the tops staying on the tiny glass lens that I bought to spin them on when I tried them. There was something wrong with my technique. The game was on as soon as I started thinking of it as a "snap" motion (rather than a twist). After just a few hours of intermittent practice, I have a personal best time of 3 minutes and 43 seconds on glass (along with a rather sore index finger). Generally, I can spin my top for more than three minutes on the glass top, and I can easily spin my desk for more than two minutes on the relatively soft laminate. With additional practice, I'm sure I will be able to break 4 minutes with this product. I think it's a great product, especially for the price. Edit
With this top, I am now 4 minutes, 11 seconds faster than my previous best. It's been five minutes since I last posted!.
It has a nice weight to it, has a gold appearance, and spins continuously. Do you believe this to be.
Made of good quality and spinning nicely. Excellent quality spins for quite some time (about 2 minutes on my computer.
It was a gift from my wife. I use it at my desk to play with. While on Zoom calls, it's a fun fidget toy to fidget with. Once, I got it to spin for 3 minutes 10 seconds by timing it. Despite how easy it is to spin, once it stabilizes, it looks like it is not moving at all and just floating in the air. The band was a little smaller than I expected, but overall I am pleased with my.
You're not afraid of dropping it and having it dink. It will look like the movie has stopped at one point, causing you to wonder if everything is an imaginary I bought a small and the size fits perfectly in my pocket without being too big or too small. I spin it on the palm of my hand!.
In spite of the measurements. I expected the top to be a little bigger than it was. The basic mechanics of spinning a ring require some practice and a smooth, flat surface to work. When the top starts to settle out, it may wobble a bit. You can spin it for a minute or two before it falls if you get a good spin. The toy is fun for a desk toy, but my kids quickly lost interest when they weren't able to spin it to their satisfaction.
At 71, I am still active in my community Four of his grandson's have miniature tops similar to this, including an old grandfather. It is a work of art, full of Having a PhD in math, I could not be more pleased with the construction! It took me 5 minutes and 12 seconds to spin this top for the first time. (I own a stopwatch as well, as I was a mechanical engineer. 1) I am trying to persuade my third son to buy one for my 4 year old grandson. Afraid that he might swallow it, my son refuses to take As far as eye/hand coordination is concerned, I anticipate that it will be beneficial. Nothing was wrong with the balance, nor did I find any imperfections. As a result of the ball bearing base, it spins faster!.
