While browsing the web, I stumbled upon these and when I saw that they would be my toy, as well as illuminate, I HAD to make the purchase. This is something I wanted to get for my 5 and 6 year-old sons, and share my childhood nostalgia with them. I was not sure what they would make of a toy mom played with years ago as everything is electronic these days, TV, YouTube, so I wasn't sure what they would think. My students started fighting over which color I would give them as soon as I opened the box! I was even able to bribe my daughter, who is 7, to buy a What about adding a switch to the wheels so they can be turned on and off? In any case, we had so much fun playing with these, I was living in nostalgia the whole time! Tomorrow, me and my five year old will compete to see who can go the longest without stopping. It's my son who I'm betting on to win. Family fun that's simple, fun, and easy!.
I bought these toys as gifts for my grandkids. As a boy, I had the original version of this toy and remember how fun it was back when toys required our imaginations. They came in boxes of three. The wheel will light up and begin to spin as soon as it is connected to the rails. Although they may seem like simple toys, the boys love them and, by using both hands in alternate directions, we're practicing hand-eye coordination even when they don't use their dominant hand. I must admit, I was a bit turned off by them as well!.
It has a really simple design but will keep your kid occupied for hours. The lights are interchangeable, and you can attach all three to one rail if you like, though it won't roll all that well.
The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions, so there were a few missteps.
At least that's what my favorite 7 month old would have said if he could talk when I let him play with it. It's still the first thing he grabs out of his toy bag when he watches me when he is 2 years old. The fact that it's magnetic and lights up, as well as how it hangs all the discs on a rail like other magnetic toys, makes him happy. The batteries have to be changed every now and then, however. After removing the tiny nut and screws, I found that I took the wrong side off (because it was easier), and the light came loose as a result. We might be able to help with a diagram or a ridge.
They are a lot of fun to play with. These are totally cool, and my kids enjoyed playing with them. The wheels' metal tips connect to the rails when they are placed on the wheel, so there is no switch to turn on the lights. As convenient as this is, it also means you have to be careful when transporting them, since the battery will run out if the wheels touch the rails. There is no way to replace the bulbs, I'm afraid. I haven't figured out yet how to replace it if it is replaceable. The rest of the time, they're a great gift for kids and they're quite affordable as well.
They got these in their stockings this Christmas and they've been playing with them. They've even been lying around the house and even my kids love to pick them up and play with When the magnets on each side touch the metal part of the wheel, it will light up. You can then let gravity take care of the wheel as it moves It appears that they are pretty durable. I miss my sister terribly The wheel went flying off to the other side of the room and is still working and lighting. This happened after my law accidentally swung one too hard.
There is no way they can let it go. There's something magical about the color, the light, and There is so much amazement at the way it moves from side to side without falling. Have a great time!.
It would have been nice to use it as a demonstration tool for my students, but ones with straight sides are better than jagged ones. It is common for these to get caught up and provide About one minute after it was used, the red one had stopped lighting up. A heavier one from the 70's with straight sides, which performs much better, doesn't light up, and is heavier still. There are 6 on one side and half a dozen on.
