If the four-year-old has a lot of intelligence! It would have been fine for my GD, but not for her 4-year-old brother! Their age difference is only 11 months! I gave it to her when she was six years old, and she adores it!

No, it does not include a DVD. I wouldn't recommend it because the tricks aren't as impressive as they appear, and it only provides a basic understanding of magic. After two days, my child was bored.

This magical kit had the potential to be the best, but it's poorly constructed, with all of the measurements being off. This inside block, for example, should fill the outer one, but it doesn't even come close, as you can see in the image. Regrettably, this is the case for all of the effects! Many of the tricks are rendered ineffective as a result of this. The instructions' illustrations accurately depict how the props should be set up. Despite the fact that they should be, they aren't. Yes, it's a children's magic kit, but that only makes me want to demand a higher level of quality. You should do the same.

The challenges in this set are helping him gain confidence while also improving his thinking and motor skills! It's worth it just for that.
I bought it for my granddaughter as a present. The first time I tried to use the magic bag, it broke. When I attempted to repair it, the screws that hold the lever together were no longer usable, and the holes had been stripped. I chose Melissa and Doug because of the superior quality, despite the higher cost; however, I would not recommend this product because it does not work.
I was impressed with the quality of the props and how quickly our 8-year-old grandson (and his 6-year-old brother) got into the tricks for the price of the set. Grandpa would instruct Patrick on how to perform the trick before working on his presentation. The kid is a natural performer who enjoyed putting on a show for us. The silks in the purse that were hidden inside were a huge hit. The quantity- Although the painted numbers were gradually scraping off the wood cards, the guessing cards were fantastic. One of the tricks, in which a coin slides into a box and appears in a bag inside a smaller hidden box, was a challenge for us to figure out. We also believe that the storage box should have a clasp; It takes some'magic' to put everything back together again. I could see a kid showing his or her classmates some of these tricks at school. I believe that 8 is a good age to start with this kit, with 7 being a close second. As a kid, I wish I had something similar to this kit.
This is something that the kids will undoubtedly require assistance with. Pieces fall out of the case because there is no latch. It's a parent's worst nightmare in terms of keeping everything in order. I'm not picky, so I don't mind the mess of building blocks and other similar toys. But my best friend bought it for her son at the same time, and after the loss of interest and clutter it causes, we've both decided that the trash can is the best place for it. It's entertaining, but not worth the time spent dealing with it.
I was unable to obtain all of the components for this item. For the "Magic Number Prediction," I received two black cards, but one of them is missing. This set is fantastic. It was a Christmas present for our ten-year-old son, and he is completely enamored of it. The props are made of wood, so they'll last a long time, and the tricks are fantastic. So far, he's put on three "shows" for family and friends, all of whom were blown away. I've purchased a number of other magic kits in the past, but none compare to the quality of the pieces and tricks in this one. I would strongly suggest it. For the record, our son was recently adopted from China, so he isn't completely fluent in English yet, but when I explained the tricks to him, he was able to understand and perform all of them within minutes, with the exception of the disappearing box and fortune telling.
