The rubber band or hook for the launcher has not been attached to the new ones we have been trying to replace twice. What about the launcher on these?

The styrofoam in these airplanes will dry out after prolonged use, allowing them to degrade fairly easily. We bought several versions of these in the past, and most have only failed after prolonged use. The other set of plastics, however, failed after just 24 hours. The first time one broke (it appeared to be a fluke because the entire rudder snapped off when I pulled back the plane from the rubber band), I thought it was just an accident. It took just 24 hours for each to break after using it for the other. As a result of their lack of durability, I would not recommend them.

I bought these for my six year old's birthday, and they were a huge hit

However, they can be fragile. The two that broke broke rather quickly, but they were still pretty good. The tail of one on the ground snapped off after one of my boys bummed into it. Yet another one broke at the place where it connects to the rubber band shooter but still flies fine. I wrote to the company because they have a year warranty but didn't hear However, I would order them again because they do like them very much. The first time we received them, my parents were over and bought a set for their house based on how much they liked them!.

This is what I bought my four boys for their Easter baskets. There are a lot of them! Two feet and a half! I love them so much! Some issues have arisen and duct tape has proved to be the best quick fix. An almost immediate failure of the launcher. The launcher is not needed because we use it without it.
