I would suggest getting a hair dryer out to warm the grip tape up a bit so that it will come off.

I refuse to let go of My wife likes it a lot better than the small ones you put in your little finger. This thing has a lot of durability. The board does not show wear despite the fact that my child constantly flips, drops, and jumps it.

He loves it so much, and he asks for it all the time. Since last Friday, he has been playing with it almost every day and teaching me how to do it. It's plastic, which I was worried about at first, but it's thick enough and well constructed.
