For my eight-year-old son's birthday, I purchased this set. He enjoys watching skateboarding despite the fact that he is confined to a wheelchair. This is simple to put together and use on his table.
When it's all put together, it'll be amazing. First and foremost, this is not a five-piece puzzle. I had a feeling it couldn't be that low, and putting the park together by yourself would take more than 20 pieces. One of the brackets was slightly warped, and it will take some time to straighten it out. To keep them from sliding, I used a small amount of masking tape. Both skateboards are identical, and the park's graffiti reads "GRAFFITI," but who cares for a 6-year-old? Having said that, it's a really cool toy once it's put together. In comparison to official Tech Deck merchandise, this is a very good value for money. The main pieces are tough and will hold up against a rough kid. I fully expect the pieces to separate if he transports it too much, but so be it. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who isn't concerned with brand name or high quality.
Meh. It did not go over well with my son. The plastic was a little flimsy, and the entire ramp was quite small. He dismantled it in order to use the ramp. It had become tedious for him. As a result, he chose to construct his own wooden ramps. He'd gotten pretty good at finger boarding and was looking for something similar to what the pros use. For children aged 5 to 7, this is appropriate. My son is a year and a half older than I am.
My 8-year-old son was the recipient of this product. We assembled it according to the instructions, but after a short period of use, the trucks loosened, and the rubber holding the truck adjuster nut fell off, leaving us scrambling all over the floor (no extras in the package). The only positive is that the board and rail are of excellent quality, but the board's underlying components are junk.
This was a gift for my son's 11th birthday. It was his birthday present, and he loved it. It also came with two skateboards.
I bought it for my son for Christmas. For what it is, I believe it is overpriced. The most important aspect was that it arrived in a cardboard box that was neither labeled nor pictured. It's a pain for the kid to have to unwrap a plain brown box.
The skateboards are a low-cost knock-off of Tech Deck. off. This item appeared when I searched on Amazon for skateboards and ramps - It's my fault for not paying attention to the item description.
I should have known better than to believe that you get what you pay for. This set seemed reasonable in price for all of the pieces, but it is of poor quality. My son owns a number of Tech Deck finger boards, which are of much higher quality. These wheels hardly move at all. I don't think this product will last much longer than a single play session. I'll purchase the other brand the next time.
