Selected User Reviews For STEM Solar Robot Kit for Kids, 14-in-1 Educational STEM Creation Science Toy, Solar Power Building Kit DIY Assembly Battery Operated Robotic Set for Kids, Teens and Science Lovers(Battery Include)
In a nutshell, Kits like this are really nice. There are 13 different solar powered robots that can be made from this kit. Building a video of the build is on my to-do list At the moment, we are working on video as well. In terms of the robot on the front of the box, it looks very similar to one that Discovery makes that costs more than this kit by itself. I like the deal a lot! In terms of strength, plastic is a pretty good material. There is definitely some flushing to be done It can be cut into pieces with clippers. There is no doubt that younger kids will have a difficult time. However, it would probably be best for children up to the age of 10. I plan on taking this to my STEM program at upper elementary. A clear set of instructions is provided. As an example, please take a look at the attached images. Easy to follow instructions and nice pictures accompany the instructions. The construction process should be a piece of cake for anyone who has built a model kit before. The crab walker so far is going very well. I have started it, and am excited to finish it. As soon as I'm done editing, I'll add the video to this review!.
It is a STEM toy that I bought for my nine year old. He loves it, and he got it for his 5-year-old grandson for Christmas. On Christmas eve, I was only with him when he opened this, and he wanted to start working on it immediately. It was a special day for him and his mom did not get to see the finished product(s), but his mom said he has made 4 different versions of his robot since Christmas. Due to the number of parts, I believe this is best suited to children 7 and older (although I am not an A toy). The moment I finished writing this review, my grandson called me to tell me he had just completed his 6th version and he was super happy with it. Thank you for finding him a gift he'll like! I was happy to finally find something he'll appreciate!.
I think this gift for my son would be a perfect gift for him because he loves puzzles and robots. He would be building his first build your own robot kit with this We were a bit intimidated at first when we opened the box because there are so many small model pieces. In fact, we were provided with nine small ziplock bags with the robot kit to sort everything out before any assembly took place. The future cleaning will be much easier now that this has been done. This seems to be a clear instruction. In addition, it illustrates what not to do , which will eliminate frustration for anyone who is a novice at robot construction. This robot kit can be used to build 13 different kinds of robots. While the holidays are approaching, it would be fun to have this available for my son.
There are many of those, but she prefers to build things instead. As soon as I saw this robot, I knew it would make a great gift for Christmas! There are 13 different types of solar-powered ones that you can build. The website says it's for ages 10+, but I believe she will be able to do it all by herself with no problems. It allows you to build robots that can do a number of things ranging from a dog that can wag its tail to a boat that can go under It's so much more exciting that building lego sets that you build once and then disassemble for a long time! Additionally, homeschool students would benefit from this! Getting hands-on and gaining more knowledge is a great way to teach. STEM presents for classrooms are also a great idea.
In a nutshell, It's fun for my daughter to put together this kit. In order to do the cutting, she did need some help as I did not want her to use a blade and I wanted the edges to be tidy. The prep work took half the time due to the sheer number of pieces. The bags that came with it should be placed within the bag so they can be sorted quickly and looked at quickly. The key is to build the body and the head (solar) first. Because all designs need those in the end. Our first one was an easy one to start. It took only 30% of the pieces, so hopefully we can make a However, you need to focus first on the head and body.
It was a lot of fun putting this together with my niece who is just getting into robotics. As she is only 7 years old, this is just a little out of her reach to do on her own, but with adult assistance, she had no problem following the visual instructions and assembling the robot. As you can see from the package, this game is meant for ages 10 and up, and some of the smaller parts make sense. If you plan on removing parts with a knife or clippers, be sure to have a good blade on hand. In the future, I will keep an eye out for similar kits!.
This kit comes with a variety of building options to help you build 14 different types of robots. Therefore, you would need to build one a day for two weeks before you have completed all of them. It was put together by my two grandsons and me. According to the package, it is suitable for those ages 10 to 13, but I believe that supervision is necessary for those ages 10 to 13. It was a smooth process overall. This book has lots of When you were a kid in the 1990's, TMNT stickers were all over the place. Putting on the little stickers was the worst part. The kids do not have the dexterity to put them on, though you could get away without them if you have big fingers. Our experience was enjoyable and we didn't take long to get the hang of it once we figured it out. You will only find lots of pictures, not written instructions. If the power plant and drive train have already been constructed, then you do not have to take them apart to build the other robots, as all of those are used as well. Despite the lamps not being enough to power the robots, they are supplied with a battery for their use. The sun will be shining tomorrow, so we will test it out.
