In a nutshell, There are just too many pieces that don't fit together. Even though I considered using a soldering tool, the defective nature of this toy surpasses any skills or tools a parent could There is already a box in which to return the products. I strongly encourage you to review photos and video if this item is still on your list.
I bought this as a gift for my grandson who likes to take everything apart and put it back together again so he would enjoy STEM education and the engineering mind of a preteen. He loved it and kept building and rebuilding it multiple times to get the most varied configuration possible.
So let's begin by using the sticker parts bag and placing each part into its corresponding bag. Since there are several parts that are similar in size and shape, it is easy to identify them when assembled. Be prepared to spend a lot of time with this when assembling parts, but it's well worth it. Once I assembled the motor housing and added the solar panel and placed it in the sun for testing, the motor did not work. I left it there for several hours and it still did not work. There were no restrictions on movement of any of the parts. By the way, this isn't the first motor kit I've built. I just believe I got a faulty panel, as the motor worked when tested with a battery and multimeter. It is unfortunate that I cannot arrange a replacement since it would be out of the question at this time. It may be a good idea to try again in the future.
Simple instructions make this an educational toy, and it really develops the creativity and the brain of children.
A robot was presented to him as a Christmas present. As soon as he heard that it was available he wanted to put up everything right His favorite part about it is the fun he has It's a special needs child who's 11 years old.
Search for the video instructions, there are many with simple step by step directions. This is a useful toy once it is assembled, and it can be used to make several different toys. There are some pros to this It’s a great STEM toy to have
There are many different varieties of solar-powered robots available
There are plenty of online videos with clear instructions. Assembles slowly and requires a great deal of patience.
I found the plastic to be of very poor quality. It took us a long time to remove the pieces from the shipping packaging because they were so small and fragile. Assembling this device is incredibly difficult. It is very difficult to understand the instructions. The translation seems to have been done by someone who did not know English or who did not speak it. Unless you are over 12 years old, I DO NOT recommend this for children.
They were able to use their imaginations to construct different types of robots, which was appealing to me. In order to put the robotics together correctly, it requires that a child has a basic understanding of mechanical engineering (at a child's level). Thank you for giving them such a nice Compared to all the gifts they received for Christmas, this was unique.
