My twin kit of the Moon buggy and the Mars Rover arrived in the mail today. I would not recommend this to a child under 10 years of age. The fitment is very intricate and contains too many small pieces. I completed both, but neither worked. It is not a good solar panel. As long as I move the gears by hand, there's no issue. However, once assembled, neither gear moves. It's a bummer, but you have to live with.

Prior to this, we purchased more expensive wooden build projects that ended up being flimsy and had to be taped I find the quality to be very good and they are very sturdy. The two kits we've found are not enough for us to be satisfied, so I wish we could find more. I also have a battalion set and my son plays with the battalion set a lot. To build this with my 13 year old was great. The set includes a lot of tiny parts so older children should be able to use it safely. The panel arrived and the instructions were easy to follow, but it did not work for him. In the end, I did not attempt to replace it because my son would need it for a project and it would arrive on.
