This product was exactly what I needed and was a great value for the money; my three-year-old friend loves pirates and treasure hunts, so I had to get it. I bought a cheap wood engraver from Walmart and engraved his name on the front and the phrase "Never stop exploring" on the bottom of the box. Then I buried it in his yard and invited him to go treasure hunting with me. The expression on his face when he uncovered the box was priceless, and I'll never forget it. The wooden box is of good quality (enough to engrave without difficulty), and the gold anchor on top adds a touch of pirate flair. y feel. The telescope itself is quite sturdy, and we adults were all impressed that it worked at all. Obviously, it's small, and the view can't be focused, but I think it's well worth the money, and it certainly brightened the day of the little guy. It has made me very happy!.

Alert! There's a snitch on the loose! The wood box and other wood parts were extremely rough! When I touched it, I got a splinter

Through a small hole, it is difficult to see. Definitely not suitable for children under the age of eight. I wish they had done a better job on the polishing.
