When our son was six months old, we purchased this for him. Now that he's eight months old, he still adores it. My son especially enjoys the little page on the upper right hand side of the elephant, which is perfect for the playpen or just a car ride. Every button you press makes a sound, which is fantastic! I would strongly suggest it. We had to buy batteries separately because ours didn't come with them.

It was much smaller than the pictures on Amazon led me to believe, and I can't imagine my granddaughter playing on such a small piano. It literally fits "in my hand" and is about the same size. There are about 15 sounds, but I don't believe they are related to it. I would have preferred something later for the price (the box says 5M, but the description says 6-). 22M. Even the girl on the box appears to be in better shape than 12M.
It's been dropped on the floor several times and continues to function normally. It's as if it's a friend to my grandson.
