The balls are made of solid wood, and throwing them hurts!
My grandson likes to play with this toy because it is fairly quick.

This toy is a big hit with my kids, and I'm very pleased with the quality. Very long lasting- My one-year-old has repeatedly dropped and thrown the pieces against hardwood floors, and none of them have been damaged (not even a scratch).
It is a big hit with my kids. Amazing. This is a Bohemian heirloom toy. I'm sick of splintering Asian wooden toys that are painted with toxic paint. The marble run at Trihorse is made with the same care and attention to detail that I saw in Germany. It's a work of art as well as a toy. My children enjoy it, and their children will enjoy it in about twenty years. That's how good it is.
My 10-month-old loved putting the balls on different levels and watching them roll. The more advanced/fun balls are entertaining to watch, but I'm holding off until he's older and has better hand-eye coordination. br>Cons: I don't think this toy will last very long. br> It is also fairly large (wide) and in hindsight, I would have preferred one that could fit on a shelf if your baby is learning to stand. I put it up against the couch so it would have a place to lean back against. My father believes it will break eventually due to its design (which is due to the tracks protruding from the sides; the wood itself is very nice).
This is a one-of-a-kind toy that you won't find in any store. The wood is of exceptional quality, as is the product. It appears to be durable, and the best part is that it comes fully assembled in a box, requiring only minor adjustments to the toy's base. I'm hoping to see more of this seller's products on Amazon.
As a 1st birthday present, this is perfect! br>This rolling ball toy is a favorite of our one-year-old son. Beautiful, high-quality product; think smooth woods like Plantoys and Haba. It's less expensive than montessori ball tracks, and it's more "fun" because two of the items that roll down are a flower and a rolypoly guy. I would strongly suggest it.
Very well-made, sturdy, and stylish. I bought another ball drop toy, which was not nearly as durable. Also, it's a good size! (I tried to show how big it is with a less zoomed-in photo. ) For the money, I think it's an excellent toy!.
But that's because right now all he wants to do is be held and dance, not play with toys. I'm sure he'll enjoy it as he grows older, but for now, my husband and stepdaughter have it all to themselves!.
