All pieces are plastic and very unstable, thought for $50 I'd get a good quality gift, you have to be careful and precise to set it up, would have been worth the money if the roller guides were metal and the pieces locked together better, the pictures make it look strong and stable like metal, it's all plastic which makes it difficult to finish assembly, one little bump and it all falls apart, getting tired of spending 10-$20 on things that aren't worth it, 50 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$.

It comes in a large box that isn't nearly as full as it appears. It costs about half as much as a starter set but includes less than half of the contents. Instead of buying another starter set, I wish I had just bought another one.

My 8- When I discovered Gravitrax, it seemed like a logical upgrade to her old favorite, an old plastic marble race toy we bought at Toys 'R Us several years before she was born. The combinations you can build are nearly infinite, and the extra pieces (sometimes a little gouge-y) seem to be a logical upgrade to her old favorite. y on the prices, but there aren't any non-alcoholic beverages available. The "lifter" and the magnetic launcher (branded compatible versions) actually work if you follow the directions. br>br>My only criticism of the toy is that the configurations are a little advanced for a younger child, because there are only a few different lengths of ramps to run between the hexagonal building tiles. As a result, spacing can be a little frustrating for young children, but it's easy enough to engineer around if you follow some of the build instructions (a decent print version is included in the starter set). br>br>But it's the app, which you can use in conjunction with the physical toy, that truly makes this a fantastic toy. Not only can you see some of the pre-existing structures, but you can also learn about them. built suggestions from the manufacturer (a few more than in the printed book that came with the set), but you can build almost anything in a virtual world and test it with a marble. My daughter has almost as much fun creating them in the app as she does in real life, but every now and then she'll surprise us with a massive setup she's built all over the house.   This is an excellent improvement. However, as seen in the video, the track can be unreliable at times. Because some parts of the plastic are very light, it causes instability. One of my criticisms is that the base is made of cardboard, while the other parts are made of very light plastic, making the structure unstable at times. Fans of gravitarax, on the other hand, are a welcome addition. But . It is still important to consider the quality of the service provided and the price paid.

You get what you pay for, but you can't build much more with this set. I'd buy another starter set if I had to do it all over again. Even though it would be more expensive, the return on investment would be significantly higher.

When a button is pressed, a stack of marbles is elevated, allowing another ball to begin its journey around the track. This is useful for tracks with elements that do not need to be reset, allowing multiple balls to be on the track at the same time. Because there are three stackable elevation tubes, the level of ball elevation can be adjusted to some extent. Because the output can be rotated but not the input, one may end up with a button that is difficult to press. Still, it's an excellent addition to a collection; it performs admirably, is dependable, and there isn't much else that could replace it. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose. It gives a track a lot more flexibility, and pressing a button is much easier and faster than manually placing a marble at the top of a run.

This is a great deal of fun! You can design tracks with the help of an app that you can download to your tablet or phone. I use it all the time, and I even made an infinite track with it. That is, it keeps repeating itself, and the only way it will stop is if you interrupt it. Much fun.

This is where I've set up my trax system to launch from. Before returning to the launcher's base, the balls pass through several switches. This allows me to easily launch multiple balls into the system at the same time and watch them scurry around the track layout. It's simple to relaunch the balls again (and again) because they all return to the base. You should be able to line up a bunch of balls for the launcher by putting a black riser block and one track piece in front of it. If you need a merger piece, remove the green switch from a switch piece and merge two trax that way.
