Questions & Answers
The Discovery sets are something I haven't tried yet. Because the pieces appeared to be smaller and the price was nearly double, I decided to give it a shot because it was for a 4-year-old.
The marbles are all the same design but come in a variety of colors.
We didn't count them because we were too busy, but there were a lot of them. At the very least, 20 years old, and most likely closer to 30 years old.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. For part of it, you might need to use a table. When used by children under the age of four who are rougher with it, it is tippy and requires a lot of fiddling.

I looked at some of the top-rated sets, which have roughly the same number of pieces but cost about $15 more. Several reviews convinced me that the less expensive sets had loose pieces, didn't include REAL glass marbles (some did, but the majority of the marbles were cheap, plastic ones), the marbles weren't standard size and thus couldn't be replaced with regular marbles to fit the tubes, or the set pieces were smaller than expected. I wanted to get a set for our son's 6th birthday that would last, where the pieces fit together well and securely, offered real marbles in standard sizes, and could be built to a suitable height for a boy who has been requesting a "marble track" for months. This collection hasn't let me down. I believe we received the best value for our money, and the quality is excellent.
My 6-year-old daughter was overjoyed to have a Marble Run Track Toy Set at home, as she informed me that the same toy is available at her school. Translucent building blocks, 20 marbles, and an instruction manual are all included in this toy. Easy, medium, hard, and hardest are the four levels of difficulty shown in the manual. By carefully following the directions in the manual, my daughter was able to construct all four levels of structures. The blocks are strong and simple to put together. She is enthralled by it and wants to learn more about it. She is currently only using the manual to construct structures, but I am confident that she will soon attempt to construct her own.
The instructions for the standard build marble runs were simple to follow, and the pieces were bright and colorful, as well as fairly sturdy. It says for ages 20 4 but I let my younger one play with 100% supervision. When you're finished, all of the pieces EASILY fit back into the original box, so you won't have to worry about them getting lost! It's a great little toy, and it's worth picking up a few extras to make even bigger and more complicated marble runs!.
This is an awesome toy. This was a hit with my son. There are no rules to this game, which is ideal for my autistic son. It's simple to put the pieces together, and they're not too small. This is also beneficial because my son's fine motor skills are limited. Since we received it in the mail, he's been playing it. I am very pleased with my purchase.
We purchased this product about a year ago and had a lot of fun putting together the various tracks. Our two boys, ages 3 and 5, used to get along fine, but now that they're older, they want to build bigger marble towers. We recently purchased a second one so that our boys can play independently or collaborate on larger tracks. We're glad we bought two because it's kept them occupied while we've been stuck inside, and it's a good quality product.
Because of the 135 piece count in the item's name, I chose it over others. More careful reading of the Features and Details section reveals that it contains 70 pieces and 20 marbles (a total of 110), so it's still not 135 pieces, but I figured the description was re-written. It would be made from a different set and would have more pieces in it. It makes no mention of a possible item count of 135 items. br>br>When I first got it, there were only 80 pieces and 55 marbles in the box; 55! I don't know any parents who would want 55 marbles strewn about the house, and I don't know any kids who could get 55 marbles running at the same time in this contraption. If I knew the proportions of marbles to pieces, I would not have ordered it. br>br>This description is deceptive because it lacks a clear description of the piece's makeup (i. e. The marbles would account for nearly 40% of the total). br>br>Another Nat has arrived. Geo set with better sturdiness ratings and no misleading numbers to promote their product.
So I purchased this marble run toy because it appeals to people of all ages. I am one of them. I'm in my 30s, and I was babysitting four children ranging in age from three to almost ten years old. This product was a hit with everyone; it took people away from their televisions and tablets for a solid 20 minutes of playtime, and it only took 5 to 10 minutes to put together. All of the kids could help build, but I was the only one who had the ability, patience, and strength to finish the assembly and keep the product sturdy enough to try the various build options (of varying difficulty). It's lovely to look at and has a lot of marbles in it. The pieces could be shorter and wider, and the bases could be wider and heavier to prevent the pieces from falling over. Or a different interlocking design where the pieces click into place. I paid $25 for it at the time because it was on sale. We've only used it a few times by ourselves because my child is still only three years old. It was well worth it for the time we spent interacting and playing with each other and the other kids. I hope this information is beneficial to someone.
To begin with, I am confident that your child will enjoy playing with this! Our son was enthralled by the sound of the marbles, particularly when the wheels spun! Because he has special needs, the entertainment aspect was absolutely perfect. It was a breeze to put together! br>br>Now for the drawback--br>*pieces missingbr>* it is NOT at all sturdy! br>*uneven on flat surfacesbr>*pieces come apart too easilybr>br>One knock over caused the entire piece to fall apart, which is upsetting to our child because he struggled to build it alone and it gets bumped frequently while playing.
