Marble Genius Marble Run Extreme Set - 300 Complete Pieces + Free Instruction App (181 Translucent Marbulous Pieces + 119 Glass Marbles)

Let me start by saying that this marble run is one of my sons' favorites. They've already spent hours playing with it, constantly building and rebuilding different runs, despite the fact that they're still young (5, 6). 7) However, I've figured out how to construct various runs and how the various components interact. As a parent, I'm frustrated by how loosely the pieces fit together. When the run falls over, there are frequently tears and yelling. If you make a bigger run- with a variety of turns and twists- It's impossible to make it sturdy because the pieces are never the same height as each other. There appears to have been a manufacturing error in that each type of piece was not measured to allow the child to use them interchangeably. Because of the way the pieces fit together, a base will frequently sit 1/4 inch off the ground, and the run will continue to fall down. My boys take turns holding it up and filling in the gaps with random books, but I had high hopes. Additionally, the pieces are prone to falling out of one another. resulting in the collapse of the race They should be more snugly fitted because it is very frustrating if the run does not stay up. Yet- It's still being played with by the boys. Despite the fact that there are numerous problems.

I had a lot of trouble keeping some of the pieces of this set together. Whenever I tried to add a new part, one or more of the existing ones would become disconnected - The majority of the time, it falls off. It all depended on which color connector I inserted into which other color connector. Blue, purple, and green connectors worked well together for me, but when inserted into red or yellow connectors, they would fall out at the touch of a finger. This irritated me, and I imagine it would enrage children as well. I ended up returning this item and replacing it with a different one.

If you ever need to buy a new toy for your kids, this is the place to go. This is the end result. My 2. This was given to my 5-year-old son nearly a month ago for Christmas. We have yet to wake up without him saying "I PLAY MARBLE RUN" within the first five minutes of being awake. which, by the way, is awe-inspiring. every day at 5 a. m. : ) My 5. Both my five-year-old daughter and my 33-year-old husband are obsessed with the same thing. This is a toy that they can and will play with for HOURS. There hasn't been a single day that hasn't included at least one of these. Fun for 2 hours on the marble run. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom to my young son. "Nah, no marble run today!" I'll say on occasion. "And then I find myself pulling it out to play later because it's just SO DARN FUN. " I can see my kids' heads spinning as they try to figure out how to put everything together correctly and run their best time. Also exceptional is the customer service. We emailed Marble Genius (Jeff) about a misshapen piece, and he promptly responded and promptly sent it out, with extra pleasant customer service. We used to have TONS of toys downstairs for the kids to play with while we were cooking, working, etc. We only need this toy downstairs, so it's the only one we have! He used gift money to purchase a translucent set shortly after Christmas to add to his collection. br>br>These marble runs are extremely popular among both children and adults, and they have resulted in the acquisition of a new collection of marbles, totaling around 1500. We needed more and different "stunt" pieces, so I purchased this particular set. As incentives, I intend to give out a few more pieces at a time. br>br>This set is compatible with the Edushape Marbulous Marble Runs, and I would suggest it as a starter set. Not that the first two sets were bad, but this one has more and different "stunts," and all of the pieces are functional rather than decorative. We particularly like:br>The translucent pieces make it easier to track the marbles as they make their way through the run. br>The extra stunt pieces allow for more involved and complex runs, many of which are not available in smaller setsbr>There are three or four large base or reservoirs to catch the marbles at the bottom. Kids enjoy seeing how many marbles they can juggle at the same time. These additional bases will prevent the marbles from piling up too quickly, but they aren't as deep as they appear in the photos. These are fantastic interactive toys. br>br> If you buy a set, I recommend getting a large plastic tub to keep them in, as well as a lot of extra and brightly colored marbles (5/8ths "target" marbles and "pee wees" work), and clear plastic containers/jars to keep the marbles in. Glass jars are beautiful to look at, but pouring glass marbles into them will chip the marbles and break the jar. Unlike many other reviews I've read on Amazon, I'm not being compensated for my opinion. There are no freebies or discounts available. These are fantastic toys in my opinion.
