My understanding is that there are two extreme sets. It's likely that I am going to get another chain lift so we can start at a higher level. In a nutshell, The system works as long as you align all the chain links in the same direction and the ball paddles face the right direction when going up. If the chain links are not aligned in the correct direction, the ball paddle could sag enough to drop the balls as they ascend. To serve as a guide, please note the direction of chain link hooks in my photo. One review noted a jamming of the paddle seat where the marble is picked up. It was not until I corrected the chain links above that I was able to resolve the issue. On two of my pictures, you can see how the self-aligning channel guides slight misalignment while allowing the camera to move freely and In addition, it contributes to the formation of a rigid structure to hold chains in place. Specifically, I have 11 of those pipe pieces, starting below boarding station (green), going all the way to the top of the exit station (white), plus one entrance piece and one exit piece, so the total should be 12 for each side.
