She received it as a gift from a 5-year-old, and she spent the entire day putting marbles down it. The marbles glide easily through the track, and the pieces fit together snugly. There are instructions for a few different types of set-ups. You can use your imagination to create your own, or you can use the ones provided. The set includes several "extra fun" parts, such as spinners or a bell, as well as a starting point where you can load marbles and then depress a button to let them pass. I thought 20 marbles was a little excessive at first. How many will you lose, after all? The fun, it seems, isn't in sending down a single marble at a time, but in sending down ALL of the marbles at once, as our living room sounded like a marblely rain stick for the majority of Christmas as they all spiraled down their track. Over and over again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again They all come together in the end, and there were fewer marbles on our floor than I had anticipated. The marbles are all standard sizes, so you'll have no trouble finding replacements if you lose most of them. br>br>I decided to take a chance and write this review- less set, because it was less expensive for the same number of pieces as the others. It's of good quality, and there are enough pieces to keep a marble-shaped puzzle going. I believe it will connect with any other "marbulous" sets if we decide to expand in the future, and it will keep the novice occupied for a long time.

First, the good: These were far more popular and interesting to my 4-year-old than I had anticipated. They jumped to the number one toy spot right away and have stayed there for a few weeks. I think they're both entertaining and educational, and they're both more than I expected. It's a lot of fun to copy the included designs, and it's also a lot of fun to make your own. On the downside, the pieces can be difficult to fit together at times, and at other times, they don't grip well, resulting in collapses and frustrating failure. To put it another way, the tolerances in plastic molds aren't exactly lego-like. grade. Overall, the assembled structures are frequently very unstable, so larger and/or heavier "base plates" would be preferable. "The pieces aren't nearly as clever or entertaining as they could be. " The "bell" track, for example, does not actually ring, and the spinner in the spinner track does not stay connected, causing it to fall out all of the time AND becoming jammed when a large number of balls arrive at the same time. To my surprise, my child enjoys the "switch" blocker segment the most. br>br>Overall, it's a good product that I can recommend, but it could be better at no additional cost to the manufacturer.

😍.   This marble run was given to us as part of the Amazon Stem Club (5-pack). (Age: 8) I tucked it away. Please give it to my son as a Christmas present! It's perfect for him. It includes a booklet with instructions for creating easy, medium, and difficult levels. Of course, he desired to construct the most difficult marble runs. I demonstrated that he did require assistance in the construction of the structure. He was given instructions on how to connect the pieces, but he built the majority of the structure on his own. He spent more time playing with this toy than he did with any other toy he received for Christmas! He actually turned it off. I had a lot of fun with it, too, because he was making his own little marble runs. I'm pleased with my purchase. It's something I'd highly recommend!.

This is a great marble game to play and build with. It can be done by a three-year-old. It's a big hit with my 5-year-old.

It was only a few dollars more than the marble run accessories where you only get a few pieces if you buy it "used, like new"! I'm not sure why the seller didn't just sell it as new because it hadn't even been opened, but I got a good deal, so no complaints! All of our other marble run brands are fully compatible with this one.

Our newest toy from the Amazon STEM club membership is fantastic. It's simple to use, and the instruction manual is organized in such a way that it reduces frustration by categorizing tasks by difficulty level. My son (almost 7) and I built the first marble run right away, and he had a lot of fun with it.

It's a little light, which can be both a benefit and a disadvantage. With kids using/building it, I don't think it'll last long. If a version with more durable pieces is on the way, I'll gladly pay the higher price.

This set appeals to me. We now have two, which gives the children more options. I was worried that the previous one we bought and this one would be identical (it's been a few years since the first), but they're both different, and the kids love to build their own and compete with each other.
