The baby was eating my phone and I got tired of it. She seems to like it, even if it did not work very well. It would have been nice if the volume could be reduced! Here's an update Although I thought it had broken since it was looping and not really responsive, it was just a need for a battery change. It's incredible how durable it actually There are few things this thing can't handle! She has had it for over a year and the amount of drool she has produced during teething and the amount of times that she has thrown it during a fit and it still works. As for me, I review my products because I base my purchase decisions on reviews and there is nothing worse than getting another product that does not match what you expected based on the review you read, so I attempt to give the facts about each product before giving my review. It still works perfectly after almost a year, even though my toddler has had it for almost the entire year. Despite the fact that there are so many things you could do with this toy, it's never Whenever my daughter gets bored while we are out, I love that I can easily slip in a handheld toy into my diaper bag and use it to keep her entertained. Unfortunately, I cannot find a volume switch on this phone and the voices are obnoxious and obtrusive, but fortunately, the volume isn't too loud, so I can deal with it. I love it, as does my kid. It is easy for little fingers to press the buttons of this phone because it has a very sensitive touch sensor. A really cute feature of this phone is that your phone number can be programmed in. Certainly, this would be a great learning tool for younger kids when it comes to learning their parents' phone numbers. The "touch the flashing light" game is one example of an interactive game. There is also a second screen option that is like a mini i-pad There is a kid song pod that plays instrumental sounds and different songs. In addition to the delightful screen lighting up during the playback of music, there is also a built-in speaker. This is an easy toy to clean and one that a child can play with when he or she has to sit still for a while. In fact, we love this toy so much that we donated quite a few to a local children's hospital for that reason.
This is very disappointing DO NOT SPEND any money on it!
Me and my stepdaughter have a 1 year old granddaughter who is obsessed with phones, so I thought this would be a nice touch for her birthday cart or car when we are out and about. Using this phone "out of the box" will not give you the results that you are expecting! It does not work with a touch screen, if an adult cannot touch or push the buttons for use, how can a baby, toddler, or child? Despite the fact that you can record, I would not recommend that. Please view the video below. I bought the toy on impulse! Complete trash, disappointing as VTech used to be, this is the toy you should The VTech toys I bought for my kids as I raised them were so expensive, but I never complained because they always came as described and were loved by my kids. still have a few VTech toys from 20+ years ago that work just fine as they did the first day we had them. It seems that VTech produces almost nothing that works anymore! (It remains to be seen if this post/video even makes it to the review section. This gets my complete and 0 * * rating!.
A seven-month-old has a penchant for grabbing the phone when I'm not looking. As a matter of fact, I have a pink phone case on my phone and ordered her one as well. The first time I saw her smile like that was when she got Our daughter was so proud of her birth announcement when we received it yesterday around 5pm. The touch screen stopped working after she played with it for an hour very lightly (no dropping) last night, and for a few hours today on and off. I got it working fine the last night, but this morning just keeps telling us, "dial the buttons" or "press play for more music," but nothing happens anymore when we do that. The price is very high, so this is very disheartening. It's very frustrating that she can't play music anymore and none of the apps work and that it won't work. She's too young to understand what's wrong, but she does seem to care that it's not working. It is very important to me to get it back, but last night I threw away the original packaging. There's no way I expect these types of toys to last forever but they'll last at least for a day at least since $13 bucks for a plastic box that does absolutely nothing is pretty outrageous.
Two of my twins turned two recently and I gave them this as a gift. It was clear I did not want to get them a REAL electronic device, regardless of the fact that they love to use everyone else's devices. Despite their age, they can be entertained by a toy, and this one is the perfect choice. For one, it is very tough. They are still at an age where throwing things around is fun, and our phone has already flown down the stairs and across several rooms and it is still in good condition. In addition, it is just fun. In addition to lighting up and singing, this device makes a camera shutter sound, rings, and says cheese. Because the display is made of hard plastic, I thought all the app icons were just decorative, but that wasn't the case. In fact, it responds to touch, so this kid can select an "app" and it starts a different game for him (no, the screen doesn't change, but games like "press the frog" or whatever are started). Furthermore, you can control the music when the slider is moved to the music player screen by touching it and touching the play, pause, and forward buttons. What a cool toy phone this is. I was truly surprised. All of my kids enjoy playing with it, even the older ones. You can buy it for a reasonable price and it's fun. You have everything you need, so what else are you in need of?.
I'm not sure what the "swiping" method means. This phone was given to my 1 year old son for Christmas because he's obsessed with cell phones. Swiping is so simple that it involves simply moving a lever at the bottom of the screen to switch between two pictures. He was hoping it would be more high tech to hold his interest, but that didn't turn out to be the case. find it to be a lot better than a toy flip phone.
This is something we have had twice, and all of our grandchildren enjoy them immensely. It only generates various sounds in the beginning, but after a while they seem to lose their "programming" and stop playing them all. Even though they will still work, they will always play the same sound ad infinitum.
