This product does not work with VTech's Explore and Write Activity Desk, which would have been nice to know from the product description. All of the slides failed to work for me. It is the same activity desk as the one on the box of the expansion pack. When I purchased it, I assumed it was going to work, but it doesn't.
Black Friday is the time to buy gifts for relatives, so I bought this gift for my 3 1/2 year old on Black Friday. The day it arrived, I was so excited about it that I thought I would give it a try. I think the idea of the "toy" is really cool. The cartridge has tons of cards for animals and songs, but when I put in the cartridge and the matching page, it gave me an X on the display board that said to insert the appropriate page or something similar. went through every single page and cartridge again to make sure they didn't work, and none of them A representative from Vtech reached out to me. In order to get the application working, they told me to keep doing everything I was already doing. I had not tried cleaning out the battery compartment, but that was another option they suggested. This is what I did. Unfortunately, this did not work out. My next step was to send for another one to see if maybe I just got a defective package, but when my second one arrived today, I still had the same problem. This doesn't seem to matter to Vtech and they don't appear to intend to do anything. I have no choice but to return what could've been a wonderful gift and find something else suitable. There is a product by Leapfrog that might be similar but I would not recommend buying this product. From reading reviews, it is evident that I am not the only one. I would then recommend that if you have had the same issue I have, you go ahead and purchase this handy tablet from Amazon. It's cheaper and comes with 8 slides front and back covering math, time, the alphabet, careers, and animals. If you looked at the Vtech desk, it was in the recommended items. I'm kind of disappointed that the bundle doesn't offer as much as this, but the item looks great and I appreciate the fact that you can take it with you on a trip or something. I really wish the item had worked though, because I really loved the look and feel of it.
Those who love to be organized will absolutely adore Basically, I'm a bit of a neat freak and the product right here meets my criteria. Actually, I felt happy when I read it. The kind of happiness that only lasts for a few minutes, not the kind of fake consumerism. That's not the case, I'm genuinely My experience with the product, which I have now for a few weeks, has been very positive. In addition to two activity work sheets (totaling three activities because one side served as advertising), this desk was also accompanied by two marketing sheets. My situation was pretty discouraging, as I was having a hard time figuring out where to store the other page when not in use, so why add even more pages that I had to pick up off the floor and put away? I was always playing with it inside the desk but it ALWAYS fell out. Because there was nowhere else to put it, the one not in use kept falling out. In that place.
I think so. Here are TWO reasons WHY I was EXPECTING a GREAT product from THIS company 1) I had the impression the company would be like, "Here, enjoy your activities wrapped in throw-away plastic". Not at all. Your filing system is quite nice in that the labels are clearly labeled and the color scheme is easy to read 2) due to the front and back structure of these, I expected to receive EIGHT pages when I initially ordered 16 pages. Suddenly, I realized that was an expensive proposition for eight pages. surprised to receive 16 pages and four cartridges instead of the usual eight. I didn't even know that the desk had a cartridge so that was another nice surprise that I received after receiving this mail. This is a toy that my two year old plays with at least once a day and he has had it for a few weeks.
(So that younger ones are not frustrated and confused) I recommend making sure you take one cartridge and each set of sheets out one time Here are my 2 thoughts. The five year old understands how to change the pages, but it was a bit much for him to coordinate 32 pages with 1/4 of the correct cartridges.
In January, my 2 year old received the activity desk for his birthday. He took some time to show interest and use the table in the way it was intended, but 4 months later, he still uses it every day. In order to have a greater variety of sheets, I bought the additional sheets. As it is intentionally repetitive, he is easily able to repeat the sounds, names, songs provided to him by each sheet. In addition to his ability to recognize letter and number sounds, he can also recognize shapes and animals quickly. As well as the different songs included, he really appreciates them. While he has not been able to fully complete spelling, vowels, and all games yet, he will eventually Despite our limited experience with technology, I haven't introduced him to much so far. In our household, we don't watch much television, and he only knows how to use computers or tablets to FaceTime my folks who live far away. By using Vtech, users find that technology can be more simply used without all the fast movement While I know that he will eventually be better at technology than I am, I am trying to protect him as long as I can till then. I wish I had purchased this sooner. To introduce a toddler to educational technology gradually and simply is such a good idea. It is definitely on our list to get the additional sheets designed for middle- and high school-aged children when need be.
