Readers in the field of technology My four-year-old granddaughter will sit with her v-neck sweater on her lap for hours on end. reader who is interested in technology I'm glad this reader has a variety of "cassettes" to choose from. Although I am a firm believer in the phonetic approach to reading, sight recognition can also be beneficial. She's seen her Hello Kitty so many times that she can read it back to me without prompting and recognizes many of the words when she sees them elsewhere. This is an excellent educational resource.
