My son was given a LeapFrog Epic along with this game as a birthday present, and this cartridge does not appear to be compatible with the LeapFrog Epic. There is no cartridge slot on the Epic. The Epic's box states that cartridges will not work, and the game's box does not list the LeapFrog Epic as a supported device (only the LeapPad 1, LeapPad 2, LeapPad Ultra, and Leapster Explorer are listed). LeapsterGS is an acronym for "leapster gaming system." In order to download the game from the App Store, you must enter a code. The same game is available on the Leap Frog App Store, but this cartridge is not compatible with the Epic!
Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The Frozen game does not work with the Leapster Explorer or LeapsterGS. It can only be used with LeapPad tablets (LeapPad Platinum, LeapPad Ultra, LeapPad2, and LeapPad3). br>I hope this has helped you find an answer to your question! br>Warm regards, Ashbr>

My 5-year-old daughter adores this reading game, which she received as a Christmas present and enjoys playing. While we work on other reading skills, he assists her in practicing her sight words. When we sit and read together, I've noticed a difference in the level of frustration.
It has the potential to help him learn to read effectively. It doesn't have any fun games, but if the goal is for them to learn to read and recognize words by sight, it's a good option. It reads the story aloud to you, underlining each word. It color codes and links the definitions for words that might not be in your child's vocabulary. The entire book is read aloud to the audience. My son had a habit of repeatedly touching the same word. Words that are sound effects, in particular. It's not his favorite Leapfrog cartridge, but as his teacher, it might be mine. Oh, and it arrived ahead of schedule!.
My son, who is almost five years old, has been struggling to articulate how many numbers he knows and how high he can count. I love the idea of this, and Jake has long been a favorite of his. While this game is labeled as a "math" game, there isn't much math involved other than counting the gold coins as they do on the show. The graphics are also a little lacking, though the voice acting is excellent.
This is an excellent educational game that my 6-year-old enjoys playing. It's fantastic, and if I let her, she could play for hours. It uses a fun ice sculpture building game with all of her favorite Frozen movie characters to teach her spelling, writing, and reading.
This and many of the cartridge-based apps on Amazon need to have their descriptions updated. The title clearly states: It's labeled "for LeapFrog Epic," but it won't work with the Epic because it doesn't take cartridges. I expected a download code to be included, but this is not the case.
My four-year-old enjoys frozen, but he quickly became bored with this game. We attempted to purchase additional characters with the coins she had earned, but they were nowhere to be found in the game. You simply repeat a few actions with no prize, reward, or end in sight. To be honest, it's a very dull game. She won't be able to benefit from it if she doesn't participate in it. I don't think it's a good idea.
This was purchased for my grandson to aid him in his math studies, and it proved to be beneficial.
My three-year-old daughter adores this game, and I'm impressed with how quickly she's picking up her leap pad 2. To jump across the pond, she can assemble the map and recognize shapes and numbers. She enjoys popping the gas bubbles and speaking out loud in response to the questions. I like being able to plug her leap pad into the computer and see what skills she's learning. As a first game, I strongly suggest this. Also, buy a rechargeable battery for the leap pad to save yourself some headaches.
