Yes and no; they are heavy, which may prevent some cold air from passing through, but the small openings may allow it to do so. I believe they will keep rooms cooler in the summer because the majority of heat from sunlight will be blocked.

These curtains are absolutely gorgeous. The star cutouts are fantastic, and as an adult who has them in her room, I can attest to that. These curtains are not only entertaining, but they also allow just the right amount of light to enter the room. They're obviously not blackout curtains, which is exactly what I'm looking for in my bedroom. As the sun rises, the room will gradually brighten. br>br>When the sun is shining brightly, enough light filters through to fill the room with a soft, gentle glow. That means the whole room is in shadow, but not so dark that you can't see what's going on. However, it is far too dark to read a book. I took a photo of the curtains in the early morning light and posted it.

To begin with, the blackout isn't "complete. " When the sun is shining brightly, only a small amount of light passes through the window. However, the room remains dimly lit. Let us now turn our attention to the celebrities. The stars do not extend all the way to the curtain's edges. They're mostly in the middle, but there's a nice solid border on the top and bottom. As a result, you'll only be able to see the stars through the window. I say this because it makes it look so expensive, rather than like it was sewed up from a premade fabric full of stars. I was worried about the stars fraying, but they don't have any. The star's shape is clearly visible. Only the sewed parts of the curtain allow the black threads on the inside to show through. This may irritate some individuals. It's a pity that the sewing isn't perfect. It's a very heavy curtain. Because the curtain has waves in it, it appears to be 3D when the curtain is closed and the stars are lit up. Some stars appear to be in closer proximity to one another than others. I'm completely smitten by these elegantly designed curtains that didn't break the bank. Because I purchased two sets and only received one, quality control is a little lacking. The length of one curtain differed slightly from the length of the other. I was able to spot it and use pink thread to fix the problem. I purchased a curtain rod with both ends screwed into the wall to prevent light from entering from the sides. It made the curtain pop and appear neat and fancy, in my opinion. Because they don't appear to be cheap, I believe these curtains will be suitable for my daughter well into her adolescence.
I'm already smitten with these curtains, despite the fact that I've only recently installed them! I had to replace my old ones due to a certain cat I know, but she's now banned from my room without supervision, so she can't harm these beauties! I didn't realize they came in a two pack, so now I have three extras in case a certain kitten sneaks in while I'm at work. It's a lovely fabric, not the softest but certainly the thickest. When I was putting these up, I realized that if I didn't have both hands on both ends when reattaching the curtain holder, it would fall completely. These curtains are much thicker and heavier than the ones I had previously. Fingers crossed that the landlord is pleased with these new ones and does not inquire about the others. 😁.
These curtains are absolutely adorable in my 2-year-old's room, and I've received numerous compliments on them. My only gripe is that they don't block out nearly as much light as I had hoped (I bought the light grey color). ) I expected the curtains to block out more light, leaving only a sliver of light to twinkle through the start cut-out. The darker colors of these curtains appear to be a better match for this than the lighter color I chose. In any case, I still think they're lovely, and they're $30 less expensive than the Target curtains I was planning to buy!.

His walls are gray, and I bought him a bright rug, so whatever he likes can fit in there. But I didn't want to limit him, so I told myself that anything was possible. That was the end of the matter. Isn't it true that you should aim for the stars? My main goal was to sell. This was ideal. I got a few things from Amazon one day, and his room was complete, including these curtains. They darken the room while giving it an amazing look that isn't cheesy like painted on stars or too much like a young boy's room that he will dislike in a few years. And if he does, I'd gladly trade with him. I could switch them out and use them in the office or the den. They aren't so whimsical that they can't be used in a room that isn't intended for children. My daughter, who is about to leave for college in the fall, mentioned that if she weren't leaving home, she would love the ones in Gray. br>These are a no-brainer if you like the look and need room darkening curtains.
These curtains are fantastic! About a month ago, I bought the dark grey set for my bedroom! I simply haven't had the time to write a review because I'm a 21-year-old college student with a full-time job. I'm fascinated by astrology, so these curtains would be ideal for my new bedroom theme! The tiny star cutouts are adorable, and the size of the stars is just right: not too small, not too large. The fabric is silky smooth and completely darkens the room! I couldn't have asked for better quality curtains to go with my constellation themed bedroom (aside from the tiny cutouts. ) And who can compete with the price?! This was an excellent purchase! I strongly recommend these 100% to everyone of all ages!.
I decided to give it a shot after reading some reviews. There was a noticeable difference in the amount of light in their room when I first set up the first set (two windows in total). The best part was seeing how beautiful the stars looked when the sun shone through them. My children were giddy with anticipation. The room is darkened by the curtains, but the stars provide natural nightlight for their naps. My purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
