Light is blocked to 95% of its original intensity. I love a silky surface The company's nbsp I love how silky soft they are! The back of the panels is a great dark soft fabric. I like the stars because they're cute, but they're not overbearing. The back tabs are great - they don't "clang" against the grommets on the metal bar. Although they aren't completely blacked out, they are close to it. I must have 95% of the room dark to sleep well, and it is about 95% dark in my room now. There will still be a lot of light coming from the top of a curtain.

Those are the curtains I bought for my outer double curtain rod so I can sleep comfortably. Although they are marketed for a child's room, my thought was I never had anything this fun as a child, so I purchased It's impossible to believe how soft they are. Unless you waffle them up into a ball and then roll them up, they won't wrinkle. Because the package did not have any strange smell when I opened it, I didn't have to worry about destroying The curtains block out most of the morning sunlight, except for the light that comes from the top of the rod, but they do a great job of absorbing light. Additionally, they are lightweight enough that I didn't have to put a center brace, which keeps light out as well. They contain no foam backing, but rather really like these shoes, they are made exceptionally well, and they are light blocking, which do their job for my daughter, who gets compliments on them and says they match her style. Since my son is renovating his bedroom with a space theme, I purchased these for him. We were delighted with their performance and they work exactly as we had hoped. Black out everything and look pretty nice at the same time. I'm really happy with them and my children love them, too.
