In these types of products, a weird stitch or flaw in the stitching is usually seen, but mine came perfect. There are two layers to it a blackout curtain layer on the bottom and a lining layer on top. There will be a lot of wrinkles on the curtain, due to its weight. Prepare to iron or steam it. It came in very handy and I was able to remove the wrinkles easily after buying a steamer awhile ago. It took me around 20 minutes to finish It took about 30 minutes to get all of the wrinkles out, but it looks great now. The before and after photos are shown below. This is a highly recommended book.

The curtains on this shelf will be perfect for my toddler's room, they have a fun pattern. The blackout worked perfectly for them. I would get thermal curtains if I cared about temperature regulation much. However, I don't think they help as much as I would like them to. Although I'd like them to help with noise reduction, I didn't notice much of a difference. We have a bird that speaks loudly outside the window at very early hours of the morning, so we may be looking for a product that will help more. The curtains are good if there are no very noisy birds outside your window, but they can be a bit loud if you do!.

It made a big difference to use a curtain rod that wraps around. We already had blinds blocking the light on the windows, so we had no need to buy any new blinds. You should have both sets of window coverings so that all the light coming from the sides is blocked. The first picture does not show the blinds down. When both window coverings are in place, there is no light coming through the windows during the day. It is possible that we wouldn't need a second blind set if we had gone for longer ones and hung them closer to the ceiling.
