Questions & Answers
Crafts, coloring, finger painting, and drawing are all fun with it. There is some texture to it, and it is non-slip. It's also very easy to store. It is very popular with my 16-month-old grandson.
Last year, I bought this table for my granddaughter, and while the umbrella was initially difficult to fit in the hole, I pushed it through. It's made that way, I believe, to prevent the umbrella from leaning when it's in use. I've taken it out and reinstalled it several times with no issues.
The umbrella simply raises and lowers. The table can also be folded for easy storage.
Mine is a junior-sized table with a lime green and blue color scheme, but not turquoise blue.

I read a LOT of reviews for this model as well as the non-model. We went back and forth on which model to get several times. I wanted something that could be compacted and stored away, as well as something that my son could use for a few years. I ultimately chose the JR version (this model) for the following reasons:
- He's 14 months old and a little underweight for his age. I wanted him to be able to use it right away while also being able to grow into it. He is capable of sitting at the table by himself. (He then usually climbs up onto the table and sits there. ) but that's a story for another time). The larger model appeared to be a tad excessive.
- There is only one child in our family at the moment. So, while we didn't have a need for a picnic table that seats six toddlers, I can see this table comfortably seating four toddlers.
- Ultimately, space (or, to be more precise, a lack thereof) was the most important consideration; this was smaller, foldable, and met our needs at the time. br>br>Assembly: br>When I first opened the box, I was surprised (and delighted!). ) that I would be able to put everything together without having to look for any tools. There are three parts in total: The tabletop, the seats (2), and the side legs (2) are all made of the same material. Each piece is large, unique, and a different color, so it appeared to be a simple task, though getting the seat benches on was a little difficult. When I tried to push it into the wrong spot (lining it up properly was a little tricky), I made a couple of dents. oops) but everything worked out fine in the end. However, I have no intention of dismantling it. Oh, my goodness! br>br>Oh, my goodness! br>br>Oh, my goodness! One more thing to mention. I was curious if the tabletop would be smooth or have that bumpy, rough texture that you see on a lot of these large plastic kids toys/furniture before I bought it. I recall ours being on the "textured" side when I was a kid, so coloring with crayons was a little like doing a "rubbing" (remember those in art class?). Except for the tabletop, all of the pieces are rough and bumpy. texture-perfect smoothness Color with your crayons for free! Overall, I'm glad I went with the smaller model. Best of luck in making your choice!.
This was purchased for our grandchildren by my wife, and I was given the task of putting it together. Isn't it a piece of cake? I mean, the pieces simply snap together with no tools required. Wrong. Maybe we got a bad batch, but this is molded plastic, not metal, and the pieces SHOULD fit together. The two blue side supports "attach" to the top as you assemble it upside down. They slide into small slots, and then the black brace, which is supposed to click into place, is flipped up. Wishing you the best of luck on this next step. I tried to force it in but didn't want to put too much pressure on it - the black brace was a good 1/4 inch short of fitting into the slot, and I had the same problem on the other side; I tried to force it in but didn't want to put too much pressure on it - It's all made of plastic after all. I eventually ran some parachute cord under the brace and pulled it up (really, really hard) while pressing the blue side support in. It finally popped into place, and I repeated the process on the other side; honestly, putting together a Little Tike plastic picnic table shouldn't be that difficult. I hope the grandchildren have a good time with it!.
Grandma bought it for her grandson's second birthday. It appeals to her.
This was purchased for my home in preparation for the arrival of my grandchildren. They are in the 3- to 5-year range. Six years old. I have a bad habit of ignoring the numbers on the scale. The box was smaller than I had anticipated when it arrived, but I went ahead and built it anyway. Again, it's a very cute table, and the umbrella makes it even cuter. I had my 5-year-old granddaughter sit and she fit fine; however, she wasn't able to sit all four at once; it's more for two at a time. I'm still happy with it, and I can't wait for them to leave so I can watch them play outside, but if your babies are older, you might want to go up a size.
The picnic table's size is fantastic. It is a big hit with the one-year-olds. It's true, as other reviews have stated, that securing table legs was nearly impossible. I used cooking spray and was able to secure both of them. I used a paper towel to wipe away the excess oil. As other reviewers have noted, the table top is extremely slippery, and I expect plates to fall off as well. Right now, we are using it to schedule quiet time. It will take some getting used to. br>In addition, one of the seat holes on one side was mismatched, so I couldn't secure it properly. It's not going to work. Little Tykes let me down. I was a frequent buyer, but this was a letdown.
This was delivered to me yesterday. In just a few minutes, you can have this dish ready to serve. There is no need for any additional equipment. It appears to be quite small for my 2-year-old twins. The umbrella is extremely stable and sturdy and provides excellent shade.
It was an instant hit with the 2-year-old, who sat on it with his cars. We put his on the picnic table because he's always fussy at the table for dinner. a winner! It's simple to erect, and our 10-month-old loves to hold on to it and move around in it. He can balance himself because there are no sharp edges and he is at a great height. Because we live in Florida, it's a fantastic all-year-round outdoor table with a good shade umbrella. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
This table is very cute, and despite the lack of screws, it is fairly sturdy. All of the pieces fit together like a puzzle. I've never folded it; instead, I keep it assembled on my back porch for when my two toddler nieces visit, and they enjoy sitting and playing on it while eating together. However, because it is small, I would recommend upgrading to the most sturdy, larger version if you have more than two toddlers or expect heavy daily use. This one would be ideal for grandparent, relative, or babysitters of toddlers to have on hand because it's the perfect size to tuck away when not in use.
