One of my sons had an abortion more than 12 years ago. An adorable puppy in blue camo. I was blown away by how well it worked! very bright, you could clearly see the stars, and it lasted for a long time! It took my second child, born 11 years after my first, 8 months to use that old camo puppy pillow pet whenever he napped or slept. It lasted for naps and for bed times. When puppy was thrown out of his crib one day, the plastic cover was broken when it hit the hardwood floor. This was a very sad day for me! As soon as I realized the pillow pet was damaged, I immediately went online to replace it. We finally found Toothless instead of the ancient puppy pet since they no longer sell it. It shipped quickly and I installed the batteries immediately after it arrived, so my son was ready for bed as soon as it arrived! The experience of turning on toothless in the dark of the nursery in order to NOT see the stars on the walls was so very disappointing! Where did it all go wrong? Unless you hold the remote close to the wall, you can't see those dang stars. Yes, I put new batteries in it before you asked. My disappointment on this issue is warranted because the quality is not as good as it used to be It might not apply to all of them, but this one that is toothless should be termed worthless because it does not accomplish what it is supposed to do at all.

This is one of the things my four year old daughter loves the most. Taking it to her favorite place was one of her favorite gifts. The pair of shoes are used every night by her. If you let it stand for 20 minutes, it will automatically turn off. A slanted ceiling makes the stars appear better because it's lower, but it wouldn't look as good with a high ceiling. If the stars weren't so bright, the night sky would be even darker.

It was my son's birthday, so I bought it for him. I ordered the Toothless light animal from the movie How to Train Your Dragon, but it did not arrive. It just came last night for us. I did not read the measurements correctly, so it's probably my own fault for not knowing how big this thing is. There's supposed to be velcro on the back so you can fold it in half like a stuffed animal, but it doesn't work at all. Despite the fact that the lights reach to the ceiling, the lights are extremely bright. Considering how close the lights are to his face, I wonder if they will be too bright. In addition to not being able to fold up, this is not a very cuddly blanket. A lot of blocks are visible where the light is coming from. It does seem to be very liked by him, however.
