Unlike its more advanced design counterparts, this locomotive does not emit smoke or produce noise. It's just a simple forward-backward locomotive that is mostly geared towards the beginner.
There is no idea *br>It is a gift for Christmas, I haven't opened it or used it yet, so I apologize.

Although the used one I purchased had a defect, it pulled me around my tight curves smoothly. There will be a new one bought for me. There are three curves on my body A 9 3/4" radius (R249 45) and a closer 8 9/16" radius (R216 45) are both recommended. It was no problem for the 060 locomotive to pull them along. The track is mounted on foam risers from Woodland Scenics, topped with masking tape and laid with Kato Unitrack. It has a smooth and solid surface Using this format is the first time I have done a layout like this. Miki Fiffer showed me how to do this on his YouTube video, so I am really grateful to him.
The fact is, she Despite our best efforts, we lost a two-point effort No tickets were sold for the ones that didn't go through). You won't find a better workhorse than this one! Currently it is pulling four cars around our little figure 8, which goes up a hill (higher than it should) and around curves that are more pronounced Bachmann is on the right track! In the event of a need to buy it again, I would. As an amateur team, we do a lot of things When I was in government furlough in the early 1990s, a group of scale train hobbyists and I assembled our layout (just 2 feet by 3 feet) in eight weeks. In the last 20 years, this is our third locomotive. You can see how tight it is in the picture I have included. It is amazing that a little engine can do this!.
It's pretty good for it's size. Steam engines from the other brands are not as well rounded as this one, but there is less available. The Bachman steam engines are, however, more carefully detailed and more appealing to the eye. In terms of price, this is a really good little engine. I weathered the locomotive and tender, painted the clear engine wrap flat black to help hide it, and it looks great. There are way too many plastic pieces out of the box, but most brands are like that. Although it runs generally smoothly, it is not perfect. You can create the most effective results by keeping the electrical contact points clean, as well as the track. In spite of its flaws, I like this little model a lot.
There was a big crack in the box and the train fell out. One of the boxes it came in even had a crack in it. I could not even get my train to work on my ez track it’s missing parts. My time and money would have been wasted if I returned. I would not recommend buying it.
This is yet another Bachmann piece of It is a grossly underpowered engine! Similar to ready-made sets with the same lightweight, cheap plastic. Switches are much too light for the vehicle to stay on the track. I had couplers that did not work on every car in my Stallion set! There was not a single one that I am bidding on the same tender. It is pointless to have a coupler. My Bachmanns, as well as other cars I own, cannot be coupled easily with the tender. Kato, Lionel, etc. are some examples of other cars you may own. Put it out of your mind! Are Bachmann and Lionel industry standards? If so, then there is no such thing! Never again Bachmann! We are too committed to Lionel in track or else Lionel won't ever be ours again.
Whenever the motor runs, it jerks very violently and does not continue running at In short wheelbases, lateral movement is too much of a problem. A smoother run is to be expected once the motor is broken in.
It does a good job pulling six to eight cars around a fairly tight loop, and I've had it for many years. Though it is lighted, I would have preferred it without the cost increase.
The gears were shipped fast and at a good price. This locomotive has a nice appearance.
