Is it possible to do this with a dc layout or does it have to be dcc?

I'm not sure how well it would work on a DC layout. Because my layout is dcc, I decided to purchase it.

What a lovely train! What a lovely train, and the engine's and horn's sounds are fantastic

It came with all of the DCC parts and was ready to roll right out of the box, which was a lot of fun for my 6-year-old grandson and his father. It does, however, run a little rough at low speeds. (We checked the screw underneath, which was loose or missing, thanks to other people's suggestions, and it and ours were fine, and not the cause of the rough running. ) ) It moves at a breakneck pace! It fits perfectly in an HO layout and is only slightly larger than HO trains, but the long cone shape gives it the appearance of being the same size as HO trains. The excitement of the grandson was palpable.
