It's a Glue Job! It does not have pre-installed uprights I just barely fit them into the slots with the attached screws

The best thing to do is to glue It is a good thing that the logs are a little heavy and very durable. As far as the log files go, they are much more detailed than the flat car. You can rest easy about playing pickup because the logs do not slide around, especially when you are riding behind a Shay locomotive.
