It was kind of hard for me to understand the measurements, and I almost returned it. My assumption was that the foot on each side of the tunnel was three inches, but it was not. In total, it was three inches plus. Anyhow, this is an incredibly heavy and sturdy object. You did an excellent job. Exactly right for the tight space I have. It's hard to tell where the turning curve is on my train because it has a missing piece. Due to the missing piece, the radius of the curved Bachman train track is a couple degrees tighter than it would normally be.
A perfect fit is made for the portals on the back.
I am very pleased with the quality and the fact they arrived early and really sturdy. I look forward to putting them on The company would be my first choice if I had to order.
I'm in love with this.
I have not gotten to use this product yet, but I'm hoping it'll be quite a hit on my new sand table!.
