There's no doubt it'll be a blast for a week or so. It's something that 10 year old boys will get bored of in no time. Considering it's under $40, it might as well be worth a shot. It is a present I got my son for Christmas. he is 2 years old. When I was a kid, these things were my favorites. Here is what I hope will help.

I have to say, the Joysway cars work well, are fast, and hug the track better than any other cars I have seen lately.

This was a gift I bought for my six-year-old son for Christmas. As soon as we assembled it and played with it for about 30 minutes, it basically broke down. Ordered a second set and same thing happened to my second set as well. Those pieces of crap are made in China! The set is absolutely junk, and there is no support-you're on your own-there is no other recourse than to return both sets. I'm not even going to bother. Total waste of time/money! It would be good for Amazon if they would pick suppliers who are able to make products that actually work and who offer.
It took a couple of hours to assemble the track, after which we all enjoyed playing! A piece of an hour one car had broken, but we were able to put it back in place and continue racing.
