It was bought for my grandkids to play with, but I've played with it just as much or even This is a pretty solid build once you assemble the track. I am very pleased with the way everything is holding up. It is a small hassle to adjust brushes under the car that contact the track power (once in a while), but there is no need to worry about that. There were extra brushes and a bonus 3rd car included in my set! As of now, we have not been able to pair our smart phone with it. In view of the fact that we have tried everything and have simply followed the instructions, I will contact the seller for assistance. My guess would be that it may be a hardware issue with the main track piece's brain. I will follow up with you
OK, seller has been trying to fix the problem with the app not working on some smart phones with iOS, so it is getting better, but not right yet. It must be commended for at least communicating with me and keeping at it and spending time on it. We will now try some hardware fixes (replace track pieces) Once we have that working, we will update. I asked the seller to fix the app issues, but one lane was STILL not functioning Initially, both lanes would work fine, but only one had the added features from the app, so the company sent them a new main track piece, the piece to which the electronics are attached, and now everything is working perfectly again! Their efforts and perseverance were appreciated, and for not abandoning me even after the return period had ended they deserve a great deal of credit. It would be a good idea to do business with.
The update is I contacted the manufacturer about my problem, and they offered to send replacement parts right away. A set of these arrived shortly after that, and it is now operating correctly. During early stage testing during its development, they found problems with their early product and the track's control section. Upon investigation, one of the cars suddenly stopped working after a few minutes, and it was determined that neither the brushes nor the track had been affected (the headlights continued to work). The spare part included in the kit allowed the race to continue. There was no problem working for maybe 45 minutes before one of the lanes broke down. There is no way to solve this problem no matter how much troubleshooting you do We’ve been tradigning cars, double checking, doing our assembly, and power cycling. The problem has been resolved. I tested the voltage of the track with a voltmeter, knowing that cars are powered by increasing the voltage on the track with a remote up to 12V. In the working track, I can reach 12V via the remote as expected, while in the bad lane I cannot reach more than V2 = 2. 1. Luckily, there is an extension on the return period during which I can return the item in case this can be resolved quickly by a new part from the manufacturer. Otherwise, the set was a lot of fun, but even that makes me nervous that it will become obsolete soon. We will update our post if anything.
The track was cool to me. The scale is much larger than the one I was familiar with in my youth. Feathering the accelerator resulted in good response from the cars. I was sorry to see that my oldest son did not like There is no fault on the part of the track, however.
