There is no need for a battery.
Battery operated Carrera sets are only 6 volts, as opposed to their electric sets, which are 14 volts. A 8V battery. There would not be enough power for the car
There is no need to replace the batteries in 63002, it is a battery operated set. Compared to track number 1 53 has a proportionately narrower track width This is a track scaled in 43. This is a car intended for use with GO 1 called Mater A total of 43 electric sets are available.
The 12 volt transformer used in the GO transformer is 14 volts, so only 1/43 analog tracks can be used on it. If the power supply is less than 8V, the system may perform slowly. It is also worth noting that Carrera's slot is deeper than most others, so you may have to file down the pin (guide) on the bottom of the car in order to rerun your car

I am sure that Mater may be a bit slower than the others that we have, but let's be real, he is Mater and he may have a bit of a lag.
Although this works with the "My First Carrera" track, it has an increased requirement for You will not be able to move Mater if the batteries in the track are not new.

The Mater car we purchased recently has been a good asset to our family. In addition to this, it is a very tall and long car, so is not among the more balanced vehicles. There is a height restriction to the track, some time it takes a while I am off to the racetrack. Compared to the Cars 2 set, this one is similar in scale to Lightning McQueen, Finn McMussile, Chick, Raoul Caroule, and others. Nevertheless, they are all able to race together without issues.
My Mater racing car is my pride and joy! Mater, along with other Disney cars, is a favorite among kids. The price is amazing for the quality.
It looks like this is going to be bigger than I expected. The race track is the only place it will be used.
This car was very popular with my son. While a little top heavy, he was able to hold the car on the track by using the speed control. To add to the growing collection, I am looking forward to getting Lightning McQueen in the near future.
