Selected User Reviews For Estes Standard Engine Model Rocket Display Stand
My first impression was that they were too small, but they are Due to the legs on these stands being so short, I was worried that the rockets might tip over when the kids use them to display their rockets at the It is surprising that they are so There was no problem with them tipping over, even with rockets that are a little bit top heavy. This may be due to their snug fit into the engine tube A heavy weight. The display stand with a dowel is not as easy as it looks to build each year, so I will buy more to keep the rockets on display at home.
The rockets that fit in this hold are standard engines. Very sturdy and stable and perfect for displays or securing rockets on their own that stand up on their own due to the engine holder projecting out further than the fins, etc.
My son wants to display the rockets in his room, and we have a couple dozen of them. Our rockets are most often made of RTF or E2X materials. A fixed fin design is present on some rockets that needs to be removed in order to load one with an engine. Unlike those rockets that can stand on their own, this rocket stand cannot be used for rockets that As of yet, we have been able to display the rest of our rockets on these stands with ease. It may be necessary to store the engine retaining rings and caps on some rockets. It is suggested that they stay with the engines to guarantee their safety.
Displaying model rockets with these will be a great success! Definitely worth the money!.
18mm model rocket stands, perfect for rockets of this size!.
They looked at me blankly as if they'd never heard of a model rocket stand! We went to our local hobby store and they had no idea what it was!? Amazon delivered this item two days after I placed the order. I finished his project in time for him to turn it in. I needed something to help him to finish his assignment. A big thank you to Amazon.
It was very useful for showing the rocket after it had been fired.
It is compatible with standard Estes rocket motors. As it does not have a very wide footprint for stability, I am not sure how it would work with bigger or taller rockets. Rockets like the Estes Alpha and Crossfire ISX work well with this platform. A product like the Estes Amazon might be a good choice.
