PERFECT! For the money, this is the best upgrade. I don't usually write product reviews, but I figured this might be useful for others who are sifting through the plethora of landing gear options available, as I was when I first started looking (and I am extremely picky about my gear). As a result, this landing gear set meets all of my requirements. 1 Without removing the gear, the drone must be foldable AND packable (in a factory DJI bag or case). I don't want to waste time putting on and taking off landing gear before and after each flight (especially since I'm using it for work). Yes, it accomplishes this flawlessly. Everything folds and stows away as if it weren't there at all. 2 The gear must be of high build quality and functionality while remaining in keeping with the overall aesthetic. THE LETTER A. Everything fits perfectly, as if DJI designed it that way. The fit is very secure, with positive snaps and friction holding that doesn't leave any marks. It also looks fantastic (much better than the photos) and, in my opinion, improves the overall appearance of the drone. The black goes well with the propellers, and the matte finish goes well with the rest of the drone. 3 It has no bearing on the performance. There is no discernible effect on the drone's performance, but it DOES provide additional protection for the most sensitive components, the camera and gimble, by increasing the distance between them and the ground. I always use a landing pad, but I wouldn't be as concerned if I had to land on grass or other terrain now. What if a stray twig in the grass or sand kicked up by the propellers scratched your lens? Thank you, but no thanks. I can't say enough about how much I like these. The drone is now more secure, and it even appears to be cooler, all for a very low cost: it's cheap, and it works. Stop second-guessing yourself and just do it!.

But the best part is this: Despite the controller's beeps, I accidentally backed up into a bush on my first flight. The drone landed (er. landed) after some bush trimming and a 5 foot fall. dropped! ) safely. This Landing Gear is responsible for a portion of my good fortune: One of the front gear legs snapped off as the two gear back legs folded up against the done back arms. The end result is a perfectly functional drone! removing a section of a front gear and re-installing it re-snapping it into place and re-snapping it There is no evidence of my mishap when I extend the back gear legs! br>br>So, yes, it does, as advertised, raise the drone off the ground. But what's more, and what's not advertised, is that this gear acts as a "crumple zone," or a shock absorber. absorb, in case you have any "bumpy landings. " For this reason, I strongly suggest this simple piece of equipment! br>br>After the third flight day, here is an update: My drone was once again up against a stationary chlorophyll-producing plant. after some spirited sport-mode antics, bearing entity (this time, a tree) in the park. A little trimming was done to the entity (it was in desperate need of it; ), and my drone plummeted to the ground once more, this time from a height of approximately 10 feet. Back gear legs folded up against drone arms to absorb some shock, and a half of one of the front-end legs folded up against one of the front-end legs. The equipment was snapped off (and then easily snapped back on). One of the drone's front arms was folded against its body this time. However, after a tense minute of evaluation and reconfiguration, the drone and gear are in perfect working order once more. in excellent condition (Okay, a couple of the props have a few nicks, but hey, that's not bad!) ) I still believe that this $16 plastic gear is excellent protection for your $1000 drone, especially if you're a beginner like me and insist on zipping around at ground level. while you're learning a new skill.

br>The SYMIK Retractable Landing Gear Extensions provide approximately a 1. Between the gimbal and the ground, there is a 5 inch gap. br>It's incredibly simple to set up. The front legs simply push on and are force-fit and very well held in place. The rear legs are precision-made to fit perfectly around the motor housing and arm, with a precision snap holding the legs firmly in place. When viewing the video of a short test flight, the Air 2S proved to be as rock solid as ever. br>As is customary when landing, the Air 2S approached the ground slowly and turned off the rotors when it touched down on the extensions! br>My favorite feature is that the extension folds up and does not need to be removed at any time! br>Fold the extensions first, then fold the Air 2S arms as usual! br>And, best of all, the Air 2S fits perfectly in the hard case's precsion cutout when the extension is installed! SYMIK, you did an excellent job! A well-planned and executed engineering project!.

At first, I thought these leg extensions were fantastic. However, today, after only a few dozen flights since I purchased them, one of the rear ones broke off as I was folding it to store the drone. I'm out of luck because I'm past the 30-day return policy and the seller doesn't appear to offer any kind of warranty.

I purchased this product because I wanted something that I could wear all the time. They were simple to put on. They have a good foundation. I wished to fly the drone before writing this review. The flight went off without a hitch, and the hovering was perfect. There were no problems on the flight at all. I am very pleased with the product. I strongly advise you to do so.

I prefer to land on a flat, hard surface. I always have a folding landing pad in my bag. I can't promise that I'll land on it, though. I'm not a big fan of 'hand catching. ' It could be hazardous to the drone as well as my fingers. br>br>This set of leg extenders gives the quad just enough lift to keep the gimbal from colliding with irregular surfaces in some situations, protect the sensors on the bottom, and possibly keep dirt and dust out of the drone's cooling vents. One inch may not appear to be a significant amount of space. However, it could mean the difference between a well-functioning drone and one that needs to be repaired. Five out of five stars.
