Drones were recently purchased by my son. He'd have to find a suitable landing spot for them. It also includes a storage bag. It's a fairly large circle when fully extended. One side is light blue and white, while the other is bright orange and white, making it easy to see from afar. Stakes are included to keep it in place. My son and his friends were competing to see who could land their drone on the H in the fastest time. All types of drones will benefit from this.

It takes a lot of practice to get it to fold correctly and fit into the case. It's simple once you've done that. However, if your drone's propellers are low to the ground, they could easily collide with the landing pad's fabric. Also, the landing pad does nothing to keep drones equipped with GPS or ground sonar from landing off to the side in tall grass or as far as 6 feet away from the mat.

I now keep it in my bag with the rest of my fpv/quad gear. I don't always need it, but when I'm messing around on a soccer field or somewhere else where I need a smooth surface to take off, it's a great help. It's well worth the few dollars to have a nice surface on which to take off and land.

I don't see myself flying at night very often, but I tested it with a flashlight on the left side and it does, in fact, glow in the dark (see image). It's a big pad (30 square feet). My Fimi X8 drone was able to successfully lock on to it during automatic landing (inch diameter is accurate). br>br>There was a strong manufacturing odor to it at first, but after letting it air out unfolded for a day, the odor is completely gone.

I like the bright color of the landing pad, and it's easy to spot. It's a great addition and fun for the kids. Most products claim to glow, but the glow is so subtle that you don't notice it, but this glow pad is nice and long-lasting!.

The color of the blue side is not the same as the one shown in the advertisement. Nice pad. Folding is a breeze. After only two uses, the seam on the storage bag has ripped. It is not blue on the blue side. There's more gray than blue here. The pad performs as expected. A higher-quality replacement has already been purchased.
