Product has been used four times. The product has a nice heavy metal ring edge and the nylon appears to be of good quality, but I'm concerned because the printing was smeared and the cover for the landing pad was not well made, the nylon edges were not melted or glued, causing the edges to pray and come apart. I'm concerned that the main Landing Pad may not have the nylon edges glued or melted, in which case the Landing Pad will eventually come apart.

br>br>I decided to wait to write a review until the pad had been subjected to multiple landings by my two Mavic Pro quadcopters equipped with landing gear. br>br>This is the first pad I've ever owned that still looks as good as the first time I used it. I always land on the black side. br>br>In addition, landing with the camera tilted to - looks very professional. My preferred method of bringing the quadcopter down is at a 90-degree angle. br>br>Launching from the pad with the camera level is also a lot of fun, because I always line up the quad so that the line leading to the N on the pad is centered. (I make it a habit to point the N in the direction that my compass indicates is north. ) One of the main reasons I want to keep an eye on the back of the plane when it's taking off is to see the flashing aircraft status indicator, which tells me if the Home Point has been recorded and if the sensors are working. )br>br>In conclusion, this is a pad that is both functional and fashionable. Both my Alpine White Mavic Pro and my standard Mavic Pro appear to be pleased that I always launch and land them with this attractive pad. br>br>Additional Information: I use the pad's carrying case to keep the Pro's Instruction Manual with me at all times because it's just big enough — and I've been glad I did.

It reminds me of my wife's collapsible light reflectors, which she uses in her photography business. The pad is substantial and long-lasting. Folds up easily and fits neatly in the case/bag provided. There are also four plastic steaks included, which can be pushed down through the pad's four loops. When you're flying through the air, either the black or the orange is easy to spot. The size is perfect, and it even fits my Inspire. The lower aerial shots are around 15 feet high, while the higher ones are around 50 feet high. Although the sun had just set at the time I took these, you can clearly see it. This is a purchase that is well worth the money. It will keep flying dust and debris off of your camera, gimbal, and motors. I wish I'd known about this sooner because a grain of sand had become lodged in my gamble, causing an overload error. For a few days, I was unable to fly until I figured out what was wrong. Protect your flying camera with a low-cost insurance policy.

The Fstop Labs [2018 Edition] 36 inch RC Drone Waterproof Collapsible Foldable Landing Pad is a good example of the latter. For this product, there are a few negative reviews - Do not pay attention to them. If I had a ten-star rating system, I would give this product ten stars. br>br>On launch day, I was able to buy a Mavic 2 Zoom, and it arrived just days before we left for a trip to Maui. I started looking for landing pads because I was concerned about sand and other debris getting into the motors. Due to its size (36" diameter) and low price (under $20), I chose this landing pad after much searching and comparing. I was expecting something that looked like a car sun shade, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the quality was far superior. The internal metal band is much wider and sturdier, and the material is thicker and more robust. It spreads out nice and tight when unfolded. Helicopters printed on paper The graphics on the pad appear to be of good quality. There are four ground-level holes in the 36" version. 4 plastic stakes are included, as well as stake tabs. And everything fits neatly into the included storage/carry bag, which has a loop for attaching to your camera bag or whatever. br>br>For the next 11 days, I launched almost exclusively from this landing pad (and, of course, landed). The Mavic 2's 36" diameter provides enough space around it to prevent debris from being kicked up by the props' downforce. I set it up on a black sand beach and launched and landed without kicking up any sand. It worked well on grass as well. The Mavic 2's camera gimbal is very close to the ground, and as a result, grass can interfere with it. Almost always, this causes a gimbal motor overload, which disables gimbal control (and can only be restored by rebooting the Mavic 2). Using this landing pad on grass, on the other hand, keeps the launch surface flat and the camera gimbal free. br>br>Another plus was the reversible color scheme (orange/black). I usually use the bright orange side up, but when I was at the black sand beach, I decided to turn the pad over with the black side up to draw less attention (no bright orange spot on a pretty black beach). I never had to stake down the landing pad because of this feature. br>br> It's not particularly heavy, but it's sturdy enough to stay put on the ground if the wind isn't too strong. Of course, I kept the stakes on hand, but I never needed to use them (in a pinch, a couple of small rocks around the perimeter would suffice). It also includes adhesive reflective strips - br>br> While I think they're a nice addition, I'm not sure they're necessary, so I didn't use them. I'm guessing they won't last long when it comes to folding and unfolding the pad. br>br>As far as I can tell, the pad is waterproof, or at least water resistant, as far as I can tell. I placed it on a wet lawn and it remained dry on top. It's unlikely to be a significant feature in either case, but it's good to know. br>br>Another great benefit of using the Mavic 2 - Precision landings are easy thanks to the bright orange and white surface (the Mavic 2 uses downward facing cameras to land precisely over its original take-off point). off point, as long as it can tell the difference between ground and air features). br>br>Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this product; I recommend purchasing the "Prime Eligible" version to avoid receiving a different product; I noticed some reviews indicating the product did not come with the stakes - All I can say is that mine came in a sealed package with four stakes, so if yours don't arrive, contact the seller (you can also use aluminum tent stakes or something similar).
