It's my fault. Although it is unlikely that this horn will fit the Rustler, as it has a different steering setup than a

As the threaded hole needs to be carefully retapped, I'm assuming the anodized coating on the threaded holes caused this problem. The bolt can be inserted 1 at a time if you don't have a metric micro die/tap set If the bolt does not fully seat after 3 threads, back it out, wipe the threads with a light oil, and repeat the process until all threads are visible. You will need to reassemble your system after you back out. The Tenacity Losi RC models, including those by Losi, would work with this.
Mine broke and I ended up having to replace both screws, so I received a new one. I had to modify the hole so the screw wouldn't break and had to basically beat it on my servo so hopefully that will work.
My Traxxas slash 4x4 fit it perfectly, and it was an exact match in size. I, however, assumed it would take a m3 screw when I purchased it. It was a necessary purchase, but the Tap and Dye set is still an important item to have, so anyone in that situation should It's possible to slightly drill the hole out and force screw through the aluminum part with a stainless steel m3 screw, but I strongly suggest that you stay away from this method. There is no doubt in my mind.
I am not sure what the thread size is for the bolt that attaches to the steering arm, but I tried numerous times to screw in an m3 screw, which is pretty standard on many R/C As it turns out, I just had to drill a bigger hole. In the event that you are using a different thread size, be sure to include the screw as well. The next one will not be purchased, I can guarantee that.
It had threads after I ran a tap through it. My first crash resulted in a screw ripping out from the aluminum where I threaded it. I have done threading on aluminum even though it is thin, so I have to replace it. It's a surprise to me how weak Losi is!.
In the end, I A thread size of 25T was not used. It didn't end well for me as I ended up ruining the threads on both the bolt and the horn.
This is a great product, but it will not fit the 2075X metal gear servo kit from Traxxas. My guess is that it will sit in the bin until I get the Savox.
The best course of action. A new Baja rey can't leave without one of these, so the hobby shop wouldn't let me leave without them. As a result, I am thankful I did, since the stock one quit A servo for a Savox is shown here.
