It is a problem that these gears are made of There is no direct replacement for the metal gear set that I have located. My steering servo is broken once more after I replace the broken gear with the one from this kit. This happened after about 5 minutes of driving the The servo was opened up again, the gear was rotated 180 degrees, and the motor kept running. My other tooth broke just a few minutes later, so I was out for the count. The problem I have may be more serious for me than other people who drive cars with the I can't tell you what your chances are, but if you do As an alternative, if, like me, you run your VXL at high speeds over jumps and bumps, or if you become in need of this gear kit following routine crashes, you should replace the servo with one with metal gears, because this one is.
In fact, the minis tend to strip steering servo gears quite often. The stock servo gears can be easily replaced by this gear set. This is a cheaper alternative to replacing the entire You'd be better off simply buying a better servo as a favor to yourself. It won't take long for them to do it again if they did it once. LOL - if you're looking at this, then you know what I mean. The solution is to buy a servo with metal gears, and you'll avoid this problem. There is a good servo for $25 that can handle this size. When plans for keeping the Traxxas Mini are in mind, it will be worth it to invest.
Gears that can be replaced on the Mini Revo Servo are listed here. Nonetheless, they are stock parts that don't offer any improvement over what was already included In light of that, I also always wished these were offered with metal gears. The pros include I. - Replacement gears originally supplied by the manufacturer* - A number of replacement parts are included in the package to get the stripped servo running again
Cons I. - Under heavy wrecks, especially in a dual servo setup, these are not metal gears, so they tend to strip easily. There are only so many things the servo saver can do.
As long as they move to a composite or other stronger material I would give them a higher.
There are garbage fists run bashing these oem style gears, and both servos have been damaged a second time. The tire is even smaller than the one I run at work. I would suggest that metals be used instead of rebuilding.
There is no need to waste your money on a servo upgrade. This rating is based on the toy, not the service. Traxxas should build a quality toy in the $300 range. If you are building an E revo in 1/16 scale, build a metal gear set or in general a stronger servo.
SAVE BIG ON A SAVOX SW- It would be better to upgrade to the 0250MG. Although it is plastic, it gives 5 stars since that is what it claims to be. This is a genuine Traxxas part, but it is still liable to break easily. SAVE BIG ON A SAVOX SW- It has metal gears and is waterproof, so it's a better upgrade than the 0250MG.
