A replacement that is direct

Gear set includes every gear and shaft (not shown in picture), one needs to rebuild a 645 or 5645 servo. With this kit I have rebuilt the servo twice in the last two weeks. The servo does not come with instructions, but meshing the gears and putting the servo back together is simple enough to figure out. Before sealing your servo, don't forget to add a little grease to the gears. I gave it three stars because I found it to be complete and easy to install. In the past two weeks, I have stripped the middle brass gear twice, and I am not confident that the new one will last any longer. There are no upgrades from stock with this set, and it is quite expensive. In this case, I would definitely upgrade it if I stripped it again. The gear set in this article can be used to rebuild a 645 or 5645 servo in a low impact application when the gears strip out. The most likely solution for you is to upgrade to one of the Hitec titanium or karbonite geared servos if your gears have stripped on you once or twice.

A gear was missing from the package, but it was otherwise undamaged. However, only 3 gears were sent. According to the product photo, there are 4.

There are enough parts here to rebuild your Hitec servo, as this one gear was all I needed. I paid the same price as buying it separately. There is no problem with any gear.

Item arrived fast, but the product was of low quality

Shipping was fast, but the product was low quality. I installed the gears into my servo, but the gears broke after less than a day. One of the servos I bought from my LHS had to be replaced. The Hitec company might not be a good fit for me.

These replace your old gears perfectly

The gears were a perfect factory replacement and were shipped quickly. The gears needed to be changed in five minutes. It is now possible to have a great servo without the expense of purchasing a new servo entirely!.
