I needed a new pair of slippers from the ground up. I forgot to replace the original magnet, and as a result, I lost my rpm and speed telemetry. It had to be dismantled and repaired once more. I like seeing the dashboard stats, especially the temperature, because it lets me know when it's time to go for a long mid-speed run to cool down. A metal spur is also one of my possessions.
It's exactly what you ordered, but why does it smell like blue berries? I'm not saying it's bad; I'm just curious as to why it and the packaging smell like blue berries.
The plastic bushing was replaced with a blue anodized aluminum ball bearing adapter. In addition to this complete set, I have a brand new clutch ready to use as a backup. I also swapped out the HD REVO kit's aluminum slipper pads. My slash 4x4 flies better in rough terrain and has a better hook up.
I would buy from this seller again because of the great price and quick delivery.
This is a perfect/OEM replacement for the clutch on my Traxxas Stampede 4x4 vxl that I burned out.
I melted my rear diff housing and the slipper pads and the slipper disc wqrped and changed colors, so I'm going to take this apart and replace them with the new aluminum pads from the revo to really beef it up.
Traxxas uses metal gears and plastic moving parts, which is a poor design. Metal is required for this clutch. I bought a new clutch, and after only five minutes of use, there was noticeable wear on it:.
The item was in excellent condition when I received it. It's a Traxxas product, and it's fantastic! A word of caution: make sure the tension nut is properly tightened. It's simple to accomplish. Tighten the nut firmly but not too much. Back off one full turn once you've achieved the desired snugness. All set!.
