Purchases should be avoided. I'm really glad I didn't buy these. I'm at a loss for words. I suppose I'll begin with the connectors themselves. br>br> The connectors are so close together that plugging and unplugging them takes a lot of force. There's a cheap feel to it. I didn't expect much from a connector at this price. br>br>What disappointed me the most were the wires that came with it. They're 22 AWG, so they should be able to handle 7A continuous, according to the label. They were purchased to be used as charging connectors for my custom Li-ion battery. Ion battery pack for my electric skateboard, which I designed to hold only about 3 volts. While charging, the device draws 5A, resulting in a two-to-one ratio. a safety ratio of one With only 3A, the wires became extremely hot and produced a massive 1. The wire sags by 2 volts! What a pitiful performance! I wouldn't trust these to carry much current for model planes or drones; only use them if your application is less than 1000mA and you don't care about efficiency. br>br>I'm extremely disappointed with the product; I had high expectations for a product bearing the "Prime" logo. I wish I could give a 0 out of 5 star rating.

Disconnecting them requires a much stronger pull. With my hands, I couldn't undo the plugs. On the male part, I used pliers, and on the female part, I used forceps, but I could wrap the wires around my fingers and pull them apart (probably not a good idea). It should take about 8 lbs, according to my calculations. It took a lot of force to get the two connectors apart. I had intended to use them on LiPo batteries and ESCs for small RC planes. However, the wires are useless for my purposes because they are difficult to disconnect.

These connectors have a lot of variation in them. Most of them are a tight fit, and it's difficult to get them fully engaged with one another, and even more difficult to separate them. To be honest, skipping the connectors and simply soldering and re-assembling is a lot less work. Solder what I had in mind for these. I will not be purchasing these for my applications again. br>br>However, if you want connectors that you won't have to dismantle later, these will suffice. However, I believe this undermines the purpose of connectors.

When I disconnected the first battery from it, I had a short midwire on one of the male pieces. It could be a one-off quality issue, but I now have two burned fingers to remind me to look for a different source. br>The lengths of the leads are also inconsistent, with the longer being 6" and the shorter being 4". This was unexpected, but it didn't pose a problem in my normal usage. br>The ends were pre-tinned and simple to soldier without the need for retinning.

These couldn't possibly be 22 AWG wires. I used a 26 AWG stripper, but it was difficult because the insulation wouldn't slip over the tinning, causing the wire to pull out strands, and the solderless connectors wouldn't work with it because it was 26 AWG wire. I'm not going to buy these again because I don't need 26 AWG connectors. They'll probably work fine if you do that.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I paid a premium for my order, which consisted of half long and half short lead wires. That's fine, but there were only seven of them, with six of them being short. The advertisement stated that there would be a total of 20 pairs available. According to my calculations, I'm missing seven pairs!.

The connectors I received have 24 AWG printed on their wire, and they're clearly not 22 AWG in size, so their rating capacity is in doubt.

The copper strands on the rated 22AWG weren't quite as thick, but they were adequate for LED lighting. The connectors fit perfectly and were extremely secure.
