It is connected to the receiver box via a cable.
Yes, it is water resistant.
How about a battery connection? You can still use the smart charger, but you won't be able to use it.
It depends on where you want to mount it; I was able to mount mine on the Erevo 2. 0 in the front bumper

The quality of these lights is actually quite impressive; however, be aware that some people produce low-quality 3D-printed items; instead, I would opt for something more akin to these, which are made of metal and are built to last. These vehicles are constantly flipping, so it's nice to know they'll hold up. So far, so good!.
The light bar was a perfect fit for the stock ascender k10 bumper. br>On waterproofing, I'm not so sure. ness - When I disassembled the assembly, I noticed that the board did not appear to have any conformal coating, so I epoxy'd the pins to improve water resistance. br>The light has a cooler blue hue to it, but it fits in the space I needed a light and is bright.
This light has a nice design, the LEDs are bright, and it looks great on the front bumper of my TRX4. It's not waterproof, which will require some epoxy, and the leads need to be resoldered to the PCB to allow both side panels to sit flush, but none of this detracts from how much I like the light. br>br>If it was waterproof right out of the bag, I'd give it a five-star rating.
I think this is a nice little light bar for the price. The colors are bright and simple. The fact that it isn't waterproof is my only gripe. With the help of some custom brackets, I was able to fit it into the bumper of one of my xmaxxs. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. If it does, I'll most likely buy another five for my other remote controls.
I slid the switch into the hole and used hot glue to secure it. It's a simple fix with a cool result. br>br>I can't tell when my headlights are on because this light bar is so bright.
I adore this tiny lamp!

For my RC4WD 1/18 Gelande 2 Black Rock, I purchased this light bar. The fit is perfect. The mounting feet face in for a perfect fit. This results in a roof light bar that is fairly scale accurate. Provides an absurdly large amount of useful light. br>br>The housing is made of aluminum, which is extremely durable. Has deflected a number of direct hits to solid rock.
It was simple to install, and it should have come with some. I went to Ace Hardware and found some, and my car is currently being repaired at Traxxas headquarters due to the esc. However, it is bright when connected to a 9v battery clipped to the ends; however, when plugged into the receiver, it is dim.
