Questions & Answers
They do, in fact, screw off. SNAP THEM OFF BUT DON'T SNAP THEM OFF. Remove the mounting pillars from the bottom of the tank with the screw driver that came with it.
No, all you have to do now is plug in the batteries and you're ready to go.
Tank should be turned off. the controller should be switched on While holding down the lock button on the controller, turn the tank back on. It may be necessary to attempt multiple times.
You can buy the Pershing separately if you search for "poco divo tank." You can also use the search term "heng long tank" to find the Sherman on its own. They're a lot more expensive on their own than they are in the two-pack.

This was my first time buying a remote control tank. And later on, after purchasing a different type of RC Tank, I realized how nice this little Sherman is. It's actually quite detailed on the outside and inside, from the paint to the back stowage, and it's a really cute little Tank. It has a fantastic driving performance. The turret does not rotate 180 degrees continuously, and it does stop when facing the back to avoid twisting its internal wires loose, unlike some of the other RC Tanks I have. The downsides to this Tank are that the turret does not rotate 180 degrees constantly, and it does stop when facing the back to avoid twisting its internal wires loose. Furthermore, when driving over carpet, dirt, or gravel, the rubber tank tracks tend to come off. Aside from that, it's a fantastic machine. It includes a rechargeable battery as well as a charger. It even has Infrared compatibility with other similar tanks, which I have yet to test (Amazon sells a set that includes two tanks, so if you can find it and read the reviews, I'm sure people who have tried it can tell you how good it is). br>br>I've attached some photos and a video to demonstrate how I upgraded this small tank myself using my 3D printer. To replace the rubber tracks that came with the Sherman, I measured, designed, linked together, and constructed my own plastic tank tracks. I added an extruding to the mix. Using the end of an old pen, fire a 30 Cal barrel at the Coax and Auxiliary gunners. I created a using 3D printing. For the turret's top, there's a 50 Cal with a removable box magazine. More tracks were added to the sides and front armor. I drilled small holes where the tabs were to allow for small tow hooks made of old electrical wire, and I used a Sharpie and rubbing alcohol to add burn marks. As an antenna, I added a piece of copper wire to the turret and blackened it. I also used Sharpie to add a rubbery look to the road wheels. To make it look like it had been hit and bounced a tank round while fighting, I used a drill bit to drill the edge of the front armor, turret shield, and turret hull. I then used a regular pencil to color the inside of the hole I had drilled to give it a metallic appearance. All of this was done while I was bored at work and had a lot of free time, so this little tank is ideal for pretty much anything you want to do with it. It's a great conversation starter in my office, and it crawls over the obstacles I put in its way. It's just a fun little toy to have around. br>br>It was definitely worth the money, and I'm still blown away by how it has variable speeds, shoots its main gun with recoil effect, has a Coax gun that lights up and makes machine gun fire sounds, and can even fight with other tanks of its type. You can adjust the volume of the sounds, turn the tank on or off, and play with it for about an hour before recharging it. For the price, it was well worth it. br>br>I hope that this has answered the majority of your questions. In my opinion, it is a worthwhile purchase. Thanks!.
Cons: The Sherman's tracks come off easily on carpet, infrared attacks using machine guns or cannon seem to hit or miss when you expect them to, you can't control turret elevation or depression, the instructions on how to connect tanks with remotes didn't say "hold" the padlock symbol button when turning on tank power switch, so I initially thought the second tank was broken, the tank motor makes more noise than the speaker at lower volumes, and there is no mute volume. The headlights are bright, there is fine turret control when turning left or right, and it takes one hour to charge the batteries. 5 hours, nice detail for the price and size, claims to support up to 12 tanks (I have not tested this), almost no assembly required (just put the knobs on the controller and the toy machine gun on top of the turret).
These tanks were purchased as a present for someone. They were unveiled earlier this month, and after a few weeks of use, the tracks began to fall off and wouldn't stay on. One of them finally gave up. These were costly but well-received. They've gone past the deadline for returns. Two disgruntled children and a disgruntled purchaser.
Excellent.
Very good sound effects when shooting and when the engine starts up and the rpm goes up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and down and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up.
This was ordered for my two sons, who are huge fans of army men, tanks, and other military-themed toys, and they chose it with their Christmas money. I got a lot more than I anticipated. The construction is very detailed and sturdy. It is extremely popular among them.
The seller was courteous and promptly replaced the defective remote with a functional one. sort of. Despite our best efforts, neither tank was able to register a hit from the opposing cannon. All of the other features worked fine, and the steering was a little shaky but adequate. The machine gun functioned properly, and the speed was excellent. My son refused to play with them because the main gun was defective, and he couldn't have a battle with them. Because the seller has not responded to our requests for working tanks or a refund, we must resolve the issue through Amazon. These are not something I would recommend. Problems arise as a result of the purchase being made by a third party.
This was a gift for my son, who is only a few years old. They are his absolute favorites. The battery life on this device is fantastic. Tanks are excellent at maneuvering and fighting. Sherman's tracks are thrown on thick carpet, but everything else is perfect, and it's a lot of fun.
