On every conceivable surface, this truck is a MONSTER! It can run on a track, grass, or sand, to name a few surfaces. I was ecstatic to see snow this morning, so I took it outside for a spin and marveled at how well it ran on 2-wheels. Snowfall of 3 inches. This is by far the best value for money, and I've already placed an order for a second one for my son so that we can play together. br>br>Did I mention you can use two batteries at once for up to 40 minutes of continuous play? Customers are treated like royalty by the company, which is uncommon nowadays. But hurry, the price is about to go up! Laegendary, congratulations on a job well done. THE LEGEND IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.
The RC car is fantastic; it's extremely fast and appears to be made of high-quality materials. materials of high quality However, one of the batteries exploded after only three or four days of ownership. I'm attempting to contact the seller to see if a replacement battery is available, but if that fails, I'll simply return the entire unit and purchase something else.
My 11-year-old upgraded his batteries and bought a redcat rc for twice the price. This was a birthday present for my 7-year-old son. I didn't want anything too extravagant, but he did want something that was faster than regular rc cars. My 11, to cut a long story short. The one-year-old is completely insane. Without any upgrades, this car is significantly faster for less than half the cost. The suspension on the redcat is a little more responsive. It's fantastic to be able to use two batteries at the same time. The batter is completely enclosed, which I really like. Because his well is all exposed, my 12-year-old must clean it thoroughly after each use. My husband is blown away by the truck's performance. I've only had it for two days, so I can't comment on its durability, but I'll let you know if it doesn't hold up or if things break easily.
I spend 75% of my time on Low speed because it is usually quick and doing so gives me about 25-minutes of work per hour. A single battery (of which there are two) can provide 30 minutes of stop-and-go action! The batteries charge quite quickly and you can even connect both batteries together to double the play time. Because the batteries are lithium ion, the car will go at 100% until the last The car simply comes to a halt when they are dead. Remove the body clips, replace the battery, and resume your game! br>In terms of durability, I've had no problems with any part of the car after driving it on concrete, thick grass, deep leaves, sand, gravel, rock, and wet grass so far! One of the main reasons I bought this car is that they sell all of the individual parts on their website, so if something goes wrong, I can buy a cheap replacement rather than adding the car to my closet collection. br>After a full day of use, I simply remove the body/shell and blow everything out with an air duster. I use a small dry paint brush to get rid of anything stubborn. If you've been through a lot, you can also use the small wrench they provide to easily remove all four tires for a thorough cleaning.
99% of the vehicle is well built, and my son had a fantastic time driving it. On Christmas Day, he and his older brothers drove it for the majority of the day, but around 4 p. m. , it came in with my boys' diagnosis that "it doesn't seem to steer very well anymore": I disassembled it and discovered the issue to be with the steering servo motor. When I disassembled the servo motor, I discovered that the internal gears are plastic rather than metal. I then went to a nearby hobby shop to see if they had a replacement, but they only had "3-D" models. replacements for the "5-wire" servos instead of the "5-wire" servos This car contains "wire" versions of these versions. As a result, I've placed another order with Laegendary, but it will take a week to arrive (the same exact part does not appear to be available in a reputable form on Amazon - regrettably). The manufacturer should do two things, in my opinion: 1) Replace the servo with one that has metal gears, and 2) incorporate a "servo saver" into the design to reduce stress on the servo's internal gears caused by the external forces of turning sharply at 30 mph:.
The vehicle is nearly identical to the description. When using two batteries, it is extremely fast and has a decent run time. The only caveat is that when using two batteries, you must use a velcro strap to keep them in place because the regular battery cover will not fit. As a result, the car is no longer waterproof when powered by two batteries. But, aside from that, it's a fantastic deal on a car that's a lot of fun to drive, powerful, and so on. My child appears to be in a good mood. Excellent value for money. br>br>We had a steering problem where a pebble or something got stuck in the works while driving through gravel and mud. The vendor was extremely helpful, responding to emails at 3 a. m. with the information I needed. Several messages were exchanged, all of which were helpful and timely. On the basis of this experience, I would do business with them again. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> They were kind enough to send me a video demonstrating how to disassemble the vehicle to resolve the problem without damaging it if it happened again. IMPORTANT: br>br> THIS IS NOT FOR INDOOR PLAY, as it is far too fast and powerful, even at low speeds (unless you live in an aircraft hangar). Our group consists of seven individuals. year- It is doable for the young, but we must be outside in a large open space. br>br>We're thinking about getting another one or two so that we can all drive them together.
