Selected User Reviews For Traxxas 1942 Rod End Set (16 long & 4 short)
I have only short ends, despite the fact that the description says 16 long and 4 short. My Slash's camber links are much longer than these "long" connectors, but they are the same length as the steering links in this bag. I'm unsure which ends I need because the manual shows the same ends for both rods. There's a lot of thread showing on the steering ends I have, so it's possible they're incorrect.
Ends for 3mm rods are perfect. Traxxas 1942 are the only ones I use.
They weren't threaded in my case.
The stock end rods on my redcat blackout would pop out almost every landing, so I bought these to replace them. I haven't had a single pop out since I switched to these.
I used some "Heavy Duty" aluminum ones at first, and they were much more durable.
Plastic that is both strong and durable. It's very simple to put together.
