Questions & Answers
These are intended for the C-level student. Models 10 and Jeep are available.
There is no more clearance with these. The use of metal links is solely for aesthetic purposes.
Only the Deadbolt frame appears to be compatible with these. The jeep couldn't handle it because it was too long. The c10 is also a question mark.
I know it didn't fit Betty, but it should.

Everything is included in the package. These links were a perfect fit for my C10 chassis and matched my aluminum axle housings perfectly. br>br>The links are significantly heavier than the stock plastic links, lowering my vehicle's center of gravity. The suspension arms have a lot less side-to-side play, and the vertical movement of the wheels is also very smooth. I believe the best way to put it is that the suspension geometry remains the same, but the overall movement is much cleaner. br>br>Red is also a great color! 5/5 br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b.
These links make me even happier than I expected, and here are a few reasons why:
- The pieces are expertly crafted.
- On the SCX24 JLU, it looks fantastic.
- Tightens up the stock suspension, which is a little sloppy.
- Axle range-of-motion is not restricted.
- Rings provide additional damping, which helps to reduce body roll.
- Screws are included! My black ones were reused. br>br>The links are well-fitting and simple to install. One of the front lower links had rubbed against the transmission's front output. The link end (mod pictured) was able to be installed after a simple clearance with the dremel and a ball end burr bit. In the end, you'll adore these, especially given the low price!.
It has a great appearance and performs admirably. The silver has a satin finish, which means it isn't shiny but also not dull. Personally, I like how it looks on the C10. This is a direct replacement for the stock SCX24 c10 links. The only issue I had was that all of the screws were the same size, preventing the rear upper links from fully threading into the rear diff mounting point. When both were in place, they were excessively long. For that location, I simply reused the stock screws, which was no big deal. br>br>Apart from that, I think they're great. Unlike the stock flimsy plastic links, these are nice and sturdy. It's well-made and adds a splash of color to your C10.
Screws that are too long. The links look fantastic! My SCX24 is blinged out to the max. Note that these are the shorter length screws for the Jeep and C10 bodies, not the deadbolt; I only gave it four stars because all of the supplied screws were the same length. The ends of about half of them need to be shorter; otherwise, they'll stick out of the axle mounts or won't even fit into the upper rear mount. Half new, half used hardware was used in the end.
These were ordered to replace the stock links that had become worn out. Without the shifting chassis movement, my side hill climb has greatly improved. It was reduced by 80% from the worn links, I'd say. For the price, I'm satisfied with them.
There are no modifications required for a score of ten. Other than the fact that I have fat fingers that don't like small screws, the installation was fairly straightforward. I had hoped for a little more weight, but I'm going to order another set for my Jeep anyway.
These will stiffen up your 24 while also adding some much-needed weight. Truck has improved significantly as a climber. It's simple to set up; just make sure you get the right length for your radio. I'll buy another scx24 if this one doesn't work out.
Easy to install, excellent quality, and a perfect fit for the Jeep chassis. They also have a fantastic appearance. These are an excellent replacement for the flimsy plastic stock links. Without a doubt, it is well worth the money.
